Are you on Amazon right now, looking for a good winter coat because your weather forecaster called for temps in the negatives? Are you worried about buying a coat online because you don’t know how thick and warm it is or how it’ll fit and look? Look no further my friends, THIS is the coat you’re looking for. I, too, was preparing for negative temperatures (as low as -20 real feel) and found I was lacking a good thick coat that really got the job done. I looked through tons of coats on here, prices ranging from $60 - $150+. I gathered a few I thought were the best from the ratings, then I compared those. Finally, this coat won because it’s the only one that was MACHINE WASHABLE! Important to remember when buying new clothes. The coat arrives and immediately I loved it. Everything about it! It’s still cute and doesn’t make me look like a jumbo puff marshmallow, AND it’s the warmest coat I’ve ever owned. Like for real, this is the only outerwear you need. I went out today with just a short sleeve tshirt on under this coat, -5° real temp, and was still warm!! Which is amazing because I hate the feeling of multiple sleeves bunched up on my arms. The hood is a bit big when it’s unbuttoned, like in the pics you can see it covering my eyes, but it’s fine once you button the neck up. Then it’s more fitted and won’t hang over your face. I also was originally hoping to get a size large enough for layering, but an XL was a fairly formed fit to me so I don’t think a hoodie under it would be very comfortable. But that doesn’t matter bc it’s so warm you don’t need to layer!! Overall 5/5 best purchase i’ve ever made. For reference i’m 5’ 3”, about 200lbs, and an XL fits me well but not oversized. Length wise, It goes down to your mid-thigh. Hope this helps! Stay warm friends.

Definite pros & cons: Pros: 1. Great price 2. Good quality 3. Love the color - I bought pink 4. Great style 5. Keeps you warm - even in super cold wind Cons: 1. Comes in a vacuum pack bag, so super wrinkled. Must steam or iron as these wrinkles don't come out after hanging for months. I tried just putting mine in the dryer for a few minutes as suggested by some reviewers, but it didn't work. 2. Hood way oversized - I love a hood & will use this one, but its so deep and tall that it most definitely obscures peripheral vision a lot. Could have been considerably smaller & more functional. 3. I can't believe no one else mentioned this, but the coat is NOISEY! It sounds like you're walking around in bubble wrap. And, yes, this bugs me. Neutral: You have to order a size up. Too bad it doesn't run true to size.

WONDERFUL! RECOMMEND! I bought this coat on Black Friday, and I am so very happy that I did! This coat is warm by itself (without layering). The coat is also comfortable, and well-made. I normally wear an XL, and so I bought it in that size. The coat leaves enough room for a sweater or even a fleece jacket. However, do know that without a sweater or fleece jacket the coat is a bit loose. With the sweater or fleece jacket, the coat nicely hugs your body, but still leaves enough room for movement. If you prefer to have lots of room after you put on your sweater or fleece jacket, then I suggest you size up one size. As for the fur on the hood, I saw that someone complained that the fur did not look like the picture. I used a dog brush to brush the fur, and once the fur was nice and smooth, I shook the coat several times, and the fur poofed up like in the picture. In all, I am a happy customer. By-the-way, I paired this coat with a nice plaid scarf that I bought here on Amazon (Plaid Cashmere Feel Classic Soft Luxurious Winter Scarf For Men Women), and a nice knit hat with a pom-pom that I also bought here on Amazon (FURTALK Womens Winter Knitted Beanie Hat with Faux Fur Pom Warm Knit Skull Cap Beanie for Women… . ). The presentation with these three items is quite nice!

Coat is thick and very warm but material is weak for wear and tear. Worn only 1 winter and the pockets are already torn through so anything inside falls into the lining of the coat. The thread holding zipper to coat is ripping so zipper is continuously being torn further and further from the coat from the bottom so it’s opening it up.
