I was hesitant to purchase this jacket, because I wasn't sure what size to buy. I normally wear an x-small or small in outerwear depending on the fabric. But because it was faux leather I was concerned about the cut under the arms. I was thinking an x-small might be too constrictive and it wouldn't allow me to raise my arms comfortably and it might pull too much. But because it was lightweight, I took a chance on the x-small and I am glad I did. It fit me perfectly and it was not uncomfortable. I love this style and the fact that it was short. I am only 5'2" and weigh 95 lbs. I bought this jacket to wear with my flared jeans, and I wanted it to make my legs look longer, which it did. If you are a shorter person, cropped jackets look better because they are not so overwhelming and they make you look taller than what you are. The sleeves were a little long, but I like them that way. It doesn't look like you outgrew the jacket. The fabric is soft and pliable and not stiff. I have bought several faux leather jackets in the past, but this style, texture and fit was the best I have ever had. It is perfect for the fall weather. I mostly wear denim jackets, but this gives me a dressy alternative. The x-small was just the right size, style and fit for me, because I don't intend to wear heavy sweaters under it. So you will have to decide the kind of clothing you will be wearing underneath it to select the size you need. Even though the zipper is slightly off center, I can wear it open (which will be most of the time) without it looking funny and the lapels lay flat. So if you want a lightweight, fashionable and comfortable faux leather jacket that doesn't look or feel cheap, I highly recommend this one. I guarantee you will get alot of compliments. The jacket is attractive. There is no way to wash or clean it but for $37.00 it is worth it. It was recommended that I purchase a large. According to what I usually buy it sounded right. Checking the size chart large was recommended and measurements matched mine. The shoulders and arm length were spot on. The rest of the jacket was too small in the chest and waist even though I had a tummy tuck and liposuction. I will keep the jacket. I’m in the process of losing more weight so let’s hope by spring … ... show more

Can withstand really bad snow storms/rain storms so its very versatile! Definitely has kept me warm this past winter. The pockets are decently big for a women's jacket and the size is pretty darn accurate, I did size up for comfortability. I like the way it fits and it is very flattering.

This is beautiful! I wore it today and got so many compliments. I got the blue one. It is a slightly green blue and I initially wasn’t sure I loved the color because I had it in mind that I wanted a more navy or even sky blue. But then I held it up to several outfits in my closet and it is the perfect color of blue with them. I fell in love with it when I saw a pic of myself in it that someone took today. And after all the compliments, I can see that it really is an awesome piece! I weigh about 145 and I’m 5’ 5 1/2”. I got the medium. I was able to zip it up. It was a bit snug in the waist, and roomier in the arms. But I intend to wear it open like I did today and it looks amazing!     • Actual measurements for a Large Black 17
I knew what to expect on material and non-working snaps from other reviewers and all that is fine considering the price. What I wasn't prepared for was the difference in size from the size chart shown in the Product Details section. I ordered a large Black 17 jacket and these are the measurements I took of the actual jacket, which are much closer to the measurements for a small jacket than a large according to their size chart. Length - 20", Shoulders - 15.5", Sleeve length - 23" As others have mentioned, it is not tailored in the waist (as picture shows) and is very short (bottom sat right below my natural waist and at the top of my hips). For reference, I am 5'11" - 160lbs - 36C and usually wear a medium shirt. I'll have to return this mainly due to the short sleeve length and lack of room in the armpit. With my arms down the end of the sleeve rests about a half inch above my wrist bone and if I raise my arms out in front of me the sleeves end up about 3" above my wrist. I also can't lift my arms over my head without the whole jacket riding up to my ribcage. Past that, the fit was decent and I was able to zip it up fine. This jacket exceeded my expectations! At 5'6, 130 lbs, I went with a size Medium. With an athletic build, small bust, long waist, and long arms, I wasn't expecting this jacket would work. But it did except for the sleeves - they were a bit short. But I liked everything else about it, so I kept it. And as long as I didn't raise both arms above my head, my waist was not revealed and my arms kept covered as well. The faux leather is top notch. It's soft to the touch, supple, textured very well and similar to actual leather, and is flexible with movement. There is NO odor to the jacket at all. The lining is sewn incredibly well and the zippers, so many zippers, we all secured well and functioned properly. The number of compliments received on this jacket kept me smiling all night long. The jacket is comfortably warm and yet was not too hot when in a warm, crowded room. This was at a perfect price point and I have no regrets purchasing this little berry red jacket. I had also purchased a black in this very same jacket, and it too was amazing. I returned it because I honestly loved the berry red color more. ... show more
