I had an older atomic clock that suddenly was going through batteries very quickly and was rather difficult to see. Having read the reviews on the WallarGe Atomic Clock as well as seeing how large the display it is, I purchased it. The numbers are huge and so much easier to read. The date, time, and temps are very accurate. Simply follow the directions and the order in which the batteries are to be put in, mount the transmitter outside under a covered area and that's it. You must manually set the date, time zone, unit of measurement, etc., which is explained in the set up directions. Once all of the is done, the clock is ready to go. The red light flashing on the transmitter lets you know that it is on and receiving the signal. We have the clock mounted above our TV so it's easy to see. So far, after 2 weeks of having this, I have zero complaints. This is a great clock! ... show more

The numbers are large and beautiful. I have it on my front porch near my front door and it can be read from the walkway where my walkway meets the street. When I got it and discovered the instructions were hard to understand, I set it aside for month until a friend with more technical knowledge could come over to help me set it up. Even then, we had trouble getting the clock set up because we couldn't program the outdoor sensor AT ALL and finally gave up on that. It took my friend an hour. The indoor sensor works fine, but it was missing the capability to program the outdoor sensor. The diagram in the instructions is faint, tiny, and impossible to read. You cannot see what they are trying to show you, but they show you TWO pictures of the front of the clock and that space would be better taken up with a larger, clearer image that is understandable. I finally contacted WallarGe and THEY told me where the ABC switch on the clock was located. 10 minutes later, I had an outdoor sensor reading. I do give WallarGe an A++++++ on good customer service. As for the clock itself, I give it a B+++++++ due to the lack of clarity on where to find the ABC switch on the clock. They should just TELL us in the instructions where it is. An A++++++ would have been if everything worked smoothly out of he box without difficulty in set up. The transmitter has a switch just above the battery hatch. C is the default. Programming it to C seems to program the inside temperature. When you've done that, move it to A (far left) or B (middle) to program the outside temperature. The corresponding ABC switch on the clock is ALSO on the inside of the battery hatches to the lower left of the batteries. Once you find this, you WILL be able to set the outside temperature. Now I have everything showing indoors and out. Finally, I am happy. I have the clock on my front porch next to my front door and the senor on the porch also but underneath a side table where nobody will disturb it and it's shielded from direct sun, rain, and the elements. ... show more

Large numbers can be read across a very long distance. The temperature is within a few tenths of a degree of an expensive weather station at a slightly different above sea level location on the hill behind the house. My main reason for getting this one after reviewing multiple clocks with temperature is the accuracy of all readings. The old item it replaced was 2 degrees off so this one was a nice suprise. I bought another unit after seeing how well this worked. They both connect to the same sensor outside so I have a spare. This one after an easy setup is much more accurate. Quality is good. I will update after I see what the battery life is as it says not to use rechargeable AA's. ... show more

Easy to set up and to see. Just wish they would increase the sensitivity so it would receive the time signal inside. I have to take it out to the patio to have it sync with the time signal.

I like the size and the clock seems to work well, however it would be better if to there was more contrast between the grey background and the black letters. It’s hard to read the smaller temp numbers.
