Item received quickly and in good condition. Came packaged nicely. It’s a Long clock with Big numbers! Not your typical small bedside alarm clock. You can easily see it across the room. I love how it has the back light when the room gets dark. Easy to set, and it’s atomic, so I don’t have to set it again. The digital clock looks modern and sleek. When you are initially setting it, you have a choice between 12- hours or 24-hours. I didn’t understand that choice, but when I chose 24-hours I got military time. I changed it to 12-hours and it went to normal time. Battery only. Kinda wish I could also plug it in, but you can set it on a dresser or table (nice small legs pull out from the back) OR hang it on the wall and a long cord would be a problem if the clock was hanging. I use my phone if I need an alarm so that was not a consideration for my new clock, except that I didn’t want a clock where the alarm got turned on so easily you didn’t even know you were doing it! That is why I’m getting rid of my current bedside clock. I would def recommend this clock if you want a versatile timepiece that can be seen very, very easily and can be set up on a flat surface or hung on the wall.

This WallarGe clock is great for our HOA Clubhouse kitchen. The large numbers are easy to read. The atomic clock function means we won't have to adjust the time until the battery runs down. It seems to be well made. We liked it so much we ordered another one for our Clubhouse meeting room. If you order one of the large WallerGe clocks and you want one with backlighting so you can see the numbers at night, read all of the specifications. This is the only one I found on Amazon that was large and also is backlit. We will just have to see how long the batteries last and how long the clock continues to function.

Bought this to replace another clock, of the same brand, that would not keep time accurately. I put batteries in this one and it set the time itself, by radio signal, before I could get the instructions out. It keeps perfect time. The numbers are BIG. The display digits are not quite as bright as they are depicted in the listing. But they are big enough to see in a room with any lighting. I have it on a wall, so I have no opinion on the backlighting.

Excellent Back lit Large display clock, with the added benefit of indoor room temperature. Choice between Day or Temp is nice. Large display of all items, and the back lighting is nice for rooms that don't always have some form of lighting. Back lighting has dim and bright settings so you can get a nice "glow" or more room lighting brightness from the display. I bought this clock and the indoor/outdoor non-back lit clock, and I really wish the other clock had the back light option, because when the room gets dark, this is the only clock I can still see the display in the room. As the reviews report, I can confirm that the clock does require facing certain directions to get a good signal. I tried facing the clock the way I wanted, and it refused to auto-set. When I turned it 90 degrees, it instantly set itself. I haven't tried to see how far you can turn it, to determine its "signal field", but I was lucky to have another wall to place it on. Well worth the purchase, and would buy again, if I needed another.

The pictures advertising this clock clearly show the clock face beautifully lit, with clear, sharp, well defined black characters on the screen. What I got was a screen with virtually no light, and characters that you couldn't even make out because of lack of brightness and contrast. I did not receive the clock with the nice bright face that was advertised in the pictures. The fresh Costco alkaline batteries I used measured slightly above 1.62 volts each, so the only thing left to blame was the clock itself and poor quality control.

These clocks (I bought 2) have been a terrific aid for me. The numbers are large and the backlight provides just enough light to make the display easy to read in the dark without being disruptive to your sleep. The setup is easy. Highly recommend.
