If you've ever been driven absolutely crazy by the ticking of a clock, then this is the clock for you. I love this thing. It is absolutely silent, keeps perfect time, and is easily visible from the other side of the house, even with my old eyes. My hearing, I thought, was supposed to be getting worse in my old age, but instead, the ticking noise from the battery-operated clock I've had for over 30 years suddenly started driving me nuts! Or I fixated on it. Or something. But this clock is absolute perfection for me. So glad somebody finally figured out how to take the ticking noise out of a normal clock! The clock in the barn bit the dust so we were looking for a replacement. I much prefer an analog clock as I hate having to reset digital clocks after every power outage, and outages happen frequently here. It's also fun to watch the younger generation try to figure out what time it is on an analog! Haha! This clock was a great replacement. The numbers are crisp and easy to read even from across the room, and so far it has been keeping time perfectly. I don't mind a clock that ticks, it's nostalgic to me, but this one does not make a sound. So if you are looking for a simple time keeper that's easy to read and quiet, this clock is a nice choice!

Even though we're all habituated to digital tick tock time, in fact it's a smooth linear thing. With this clock, time is presented as it should be, smoothly and quietly. The same clock can be had for about half the price if you want it to click-click a second at a time, and you wouldn't think it would make a noticeable difference. But somehow it really does, and you almost immediately notice it. For a few dollars more this clock is worth the added feature, and the numbers are big and bold, very easy to read from across the room....

This simple clock has everything covered. Looks nice. Large enough to read from a distance. Can even see the second hand from 30 feet away (with old eyes). Our last kitchen wall clock started ticking loudly. Replaced it with a different silent clock, but it did not have any second hand, or even minute marks, so very limited in usage. We did not know how big a deal a second hand would be. It is needed. This clock solved all the issues. It is also a great size. Not too small, just large enough to easily see the exact time, down to the second, at a quick glance.

There are a lot of battery powered clocks on the market and they all go tick tick tick. I need a quiet clock for my living room and have been frustrated trying to find one that meets requirements. This clock is ideal. It is a good size, it is exceptionally easy to read, and is SO quiet. I am so happy with it. It is attractive and the second hand just sweeps around and doesn't make a sound. My husband is always interested in finding a standard clock to have going in his workshop as his always die. He like this one when I showed it to him, and it is working out nicely in his shop. It is a simple appearance which my husband appreciates as he tends to have trouble seeing clocks in dark surroundings which his shop can be at certain times in his life, the size is a nice standard size with easy to like look and quiet for its sound or noise level.
