This comes out of the box ready to go! All you have to do is plug in the power cord and pull the plastic out of the remote so that the battery connects. The remote is easy to use and has a wrist strap, so it’s always at hand. Displays on the machine are easy to read. Sturdy machine. Comfortable, steady walk. I gave four stars because it does not incline with the remote. Incline is done manually by flipping down the 2 “feet” located on the front of the pad. This raises the front end, a couple of inches. The highest speed is 4. There are wheels on the front for easy moving. The wheels don’t roll sideways so to push it under my sofa the wheels are of no use. I have used it a few times from 15 minutes to 45 minutes. So far so good. I am a bit concerned that the walking belt seems to have slipped all the way to the right side. I rarely ever write reviews, but I’ve never bought something so awful on Amazon! Couldn’t be more disappointed. As soon as I turned it on the belt slipped to the left, so I did what the instructions say and tried to center it. I did that about 20 times, and every time it would slip right back to the left. Not heavy duty enough for what I thought I was paying for. It works but the belt slips and goes back and forth when you walk. Seems cheaply made especially when the directions say to not over tighten. Now when I try to tighten it just keeps spinning. Not great would not recommend to a friend.

I ordered this because I work in an office and sit down most of the day. This mini treadmill is everything and more! I can set it up and just walk while watching tv or doing desk work. The length is perfect, the remote is simple and easy to use. They even include a spare battery. The noise is as you would expect from a treadmill but it’s definitely not noticeable when you have other noise such as music or tv. The value is absolutely worth it. It's not amazing but you get value for your money. Also it's surprisingly sturdy I'm a brick house built 300 and I have no problems with any loud noises or fear of breaking, I'm afraid other customers might have received a faulty machine. Remote control is useful but doesn't really make up for no safety bar so you don't land on your face. The compactness is very nice, can just lean it against a wall and forget about it.
