The media could not be loaded. So I learned a few things already. The instructions do say to oil it and gives you a schedule for the future. It doesn’t run smoother after being oiled. If you walk toward the back of the walking area, it doesn’t like that so much so you do want to stay front and centered. It’s more lightweight than I expected and I love that! It slide really easily under and out from my bed. It’s easy to turn on and just get started going. Its lowest speed is .6 and I found that 1.2 to 1.8 is a good walking speed while I’m working. It’s quiet too other than you can hear the obvious sliding of the walking pad go around. That’s to be expected though. Shipping was excellent, the walking pad came undamaged even though the box was kind of beat up. It was packaged really well actually. I was happy about the amount of packing materials was just right in my opinion. You do need to get two AAA batteries, they are not included. We already had some. I think this was honestly a great process too. I got it at the same time a coupon was going on so that was a nice incentive on top. I’ve already convinced my mom to buy one for herself too! I bought this Aug of 24 so I've had plenty of time to test this walking pad before reviewing. This was my first walking pad. When I first got it we followed the directions and oiled. I used it once for a slow walk to get used to it. The 2nd time I used it the belt was slipping causing me to lose balance and somehow the side of my foot ended up under the belt and twisted my ankle. I had it between the bed and dresser so I was able to catch myself from falling. I put it under the bed and didn't touch it again. I ended up with a sprained ankle which I still have issues with and have to wear a brace when walking on a walking pad or treadmill. Fast fwd to a couple of months ago. I got serious about calorie counting and movement and against my better judgement I pulled this thing out instead of buying a new one. Oiled it, tried to adjust the belt (didnt help). This time I didnt use it next to anything to hold on to. I got used to the slipping of the belt, learned to balance myself and wait it out. After it fully gets going the slipping stops. Besides the slipping here are the big issues... 20 minutes in, 3.8 and this thing just stopped on me, cold turkey. No warning. No slowing down. Literally stopped and threw me backwards. I hit my head on the windowsill and hurt my back. I'm guessing due an electrical issue with unit. After healing I decided to try again because I have an at home sedentary job and I really need to walk. After 20 minutes at 3.8 my whole room smells like electrical burning and I'm worried about a fire or it shutting off again on me so my husband instructed me to get a new one and get rid of this. I have had it awhile, yes. But it hasn't had much use because of the faulty issues with it. I decided to write this review because I feel it's an extremely important review and can help others when making a decision. ... show more

(real review) This little treadmill arrived used; it had footprints on it as well as several missing items (oil, tools, pad), but the machine and remote were both there. It astonishes me how many items are shipped used/damaged - I don't even care anymore. As long as it works as designed. I have not taken any stars off for it being used, because I think there is a probability yours won't be. I also haven't taken any stars off for my main issue with this little machine, which is my tendency to fall off of it. My balance isn't great, so that's on me, but it's worth noting. If you have any issues with balance, the small tread area coupled with a lack of anything to hold on to may be a deal-breaker. This little treadmill works as designed. It's fairly smooth, very responsive to the remote, and I didn't find the noise to be an issue. I set it up in front of my big TV and time my workout by the length of the program I watch. It is limited in that it doesn't incline or have handles, but it never said it did. It is just what it claims to be and I think it does well for what it is. My favorite thing about it is that I can prop it up behind a door for how small and inconspicuous it is. That's a big plus, if you don't have a wealth of space. So in general, this walking pad is exactly what it claims to be and I feel it's worth the investment. ... show more
