Given this is made of MDF rather than solid wood, I set a pretty low bar. I was pleasantly surprised! It was actually rather easy to build because while it has many steps, all the pieces lined up perfectly & the screws went in well & sturdy. (Hint: Swap step 7 & 8--put the back on before the inner shelf.) I bought wall shelves for the wine to add so that the bar itself will not look so cluttered. Still filling it up, but I am super happy with the urban/rustic/modern look! The photo makes the gray wash look lighter than it is. It is just PERFECT! 2nd pic has the very cool shelves to give the bar a finishing touch. :-)

I've assembled countless furniture, various kinds of kits etc on a personal and professional level. I can't say there was any one thing that stood out more than another and that's a rare compliment. With the exception of a couple dings present in the veneer of the top backboard piece, everything with this was well done. It was packed very well (so the dings mentioned, must have been there from the start). Every part either labeled with a letter or bagged in a marked / lettered bag. I was surprised that the majority of the pieces were a fairly heavy gauge metal. So much that the delivery person had to use a hand cart to move it from the truck. It rolls smoothly and with a little additional customization ( added Hue light strip and door sensor to activate it), very impressive looking add to the home.

Love the look of this cart. Great style and not too hard to put together. Seems to be pretty sturdy as we have it packed with booze. The next test is to see if it will hold a drunk person who is packed with booze- will update.

1- Although I am keeping it, I wanted to provide my insight. It is NOT worth the 225.00 price tag, at all. It is cheap. Like something you would get at Target for 85.00. That is what the price should be. 2- Mine has several issues. The bar that mounts on the inside for the inside wooden shelf is not even the correct size. It won't mount to the back vertical bar. I could still place the inside shelf on it, sturdy enough to not be noticed. The doors do not react to the magnets, so if you move the apparatus, the doors swing open. One door is 1/8 inch lower than other, so if you look closely at them, you see the difference. Several screws that mount the back to panels would not line up with their holes, or even screw in. Again, it is simply a highly overpriced piece. It looks plenty fine, and is functional. Just know that you are not receiving a piece of furniture that is worth 225.00.

I bought this bar for my wife as a birthday gift. We are remodeling our house so this looked like a good fit for our house space. It arrived in the typical Chinese brown box. We opened the box and the styrofoam came apart real easy and littered our living room with tiny styrofoam pieces. So we had a very easy time assembling the unit up until the last step of installing the doors. The left door fit right on,but the right door was not even close to the door that fits on the unit. The screw holes were incorrect and it was 2 inches shorter than the other door with some big goofy rivets holding it together. Someone put the wrong door in the box and shipped it out. I imagine the whole run of these units will have the same wrong door. I filled out the Amazon return/wrong parts form and have heard nothing back from the company. I finally called the company and they said they would ship me a new door. That was 3 weeks ago without a single email reply from them. I did Chat online with a representative who said they were on it and had lost my email. Horrible customer service,probably the worst Amazon purchase I have made.I am expecting to never get a new door.

Okay. I really don't like to write negative reviews. But man is this things a huge headache. My husband has been trying to figure this thing out for days. I don't know if we got a defective one but there seems to be no way this thing can be put together. The problem we are having is the top shelf doesn't fit properly to put the 2 magnets that hold the doors, will fit. The top piece will not go down far enough. I don't know if that makes sense or if anyone can picture what I'm trying to explain. I'm telling everyone. Just like others have said. Do not buy this. You will go insane trying to put this together. If someone can explain what we are doing wrong, please do. Because I have purchased soooo many things that my husband has had to put together. And nothing has made him more frustrated than this hutch. I really wanted to like this. But if we can't get it together we will have to take it apart and see if we can return it. Otherwise, I will just have a 100$ piece of junk. Any help would be appreciated.

The media could not be loaded. Super nice industrial but functional home bar that shines at displaying your liquor collection. It was easy to put together by simply following the instructions and each piece was numbered to make thing so easy. My only complaint, and it's a minor one is, the magnets holding the front door closed could be a little stronger. They hold the doors close; however, not by much. I added LED strip lighting to mine to illuminate the inside of the bar. Functional and decorative.

It was a little frustrating to assemble. When you do pay attention to all the small holes on the pieces. The instructions don’t say much about that and it matters to where they are. Other than that part it’s not to bad building it’s pretty heavy and looks awesome I’m really happy with this .
