I wanted to wear this on a long plane trip. Basically, I wanted the comfort of a night gown without wearing a night gown in public. I also wanted to get off the plane and look like I hadn't just traveled for 16 hours. This dress was a great selection for what I had in mind. Admittedly, I probably can't enjoy it all the ways I hoped. On a taller person, it may be more versatile than it will be for me. Pros: It is made of a great cotton fabric. It is easy to iron and does not wrinkle easily. It could look good with or without a belt. It may work well with flats or heels, depending on occasion. Cons: It is long for a short person. (I'm 5'3'', and it stops right above my shoes.) Some may not like the loose fit. I think I could have gone to a Med, but it would have still been baggy in areas. The arms were long. It was loose in my chest area, and I could pull it away from my hips. I don't think it would look good as a long, open shirt. That is one of the looks they show on the site, but it didn't look good when I tried to wear it that way recently. (Again... just really large.)

The jury is not quite in on this. It looks exactly how t is shown , you can wear it any way you want. I think I don't like the navy. It's deep dark navy but the color is not working for me. So I’m 5”3, 150-167 and I purchased a medium. The fit was just right no too long and the space that I wanted. Be prepared to drop it off at the cleaners unless you want to iron it yourself. You could probably style this in so many ways I chose to add a belt. The gold is more so in between a green and gold it’s definitely not a yellow gold but I rocked with anyway! Love the pockets! This dress was dressy and comfortable! I liked that the buttons flowed the entire length!
