I paired these chairs with the matching Walker Edison side table, and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. These chairs are simple but cumbersome to assemble. Unless you already have a hex bit for your screwdriver, you'll need to use the awful, low-quality hex bit that is included. It is also challenging to assemble if you're alone, since a couple steps require you to hold one piece aloft while attaching another piece. Once assembled, though, these chairs are very sturdy, and the legs are perfectly balanced (even my expensive IKEA furniture doesn't accomplish that). They look at once chic and rustic on my balcony. While not the most comfortable things I've sat on, they're definitely not uncomfortable for patio/balcony furniture. I've sat in them enjoying iced tea over the course of a hot afternoon without feeling uncomfortable. Given the sturdiness, great appearance, and satisfactory comfort, I think these chairs will last me a long time and will move with me if I go somewhere else. Recommended! ... show more

These Chevron wood chairs look so beautiful on my front balcony, but OMG what a pain it was to assemble... Parts are sturdy but not all perfectly aligned with matching part. It took me about two hours to assemble one chair. However, at the end, it was worth the struggle. I may say that they are sturdy and up to date, they have maintained their beauty. I also purchase the Walker Edison Outdoor Patio Wood Chevron Square End Side Table to match. I am happy with these chairs and do recommend them, but be awared that you must have "handyman" skills. ... show more

My dislike was the time frame in which it took to receive the item and my discomfort that usps eas the delivery company...enough said ...However the chairs turned out to be sturdy,high quality, beautiful, and oversized, but most of all comfortable! I was amazed! I would purchased again as it has a side table and other dining options such as dining table and chairs and a love seat option. They’re good, but the assembly is no joke, if I had to do it with no other tools than provided there would have been lots of swearing. I ended up using a better Allen wrench, a power drill with an Allen bit, and a camp chair to prop everything up when you’re doing it alone, and also a rubber mallet. I spend all my days at work assembling wood products so I’m no stranger to how finicky these things can be. But, if you’re prepared to struggle with it a little, and you mostly tighten things up and then do a final tighten by hand it’s not too bad. I did use one of the “spare parts” because it’s easy to strip the bolts if you’re using a power drill and you’re not careful. I ordered four more chairs after the original two. I had to replace the last set because they arrived with a broken strut, but the replacement process was no issue and the replacement was fine. If you’re pretty handy you’ll be fine, and the finished product looks nice. I mean, for the price of a chair, of solid wood, I feel satisfied. They definitely need a cushion, but also not a surprise, they’re wood. ... show more

Feels sturdy. Yet another allen wrench project, +3 small screws. I recommend doing the first step of installing 1 arm/leg, and tightening till 1/8-1/4 inch remains to be tightened, then flip it over and install the other arm/leg till 1/4+ inch remains, THEN install the seat and crossbar with the "wiggle room" you left yourself ... and finally tighten it all down, and work the final 3 screws. Make sure to use the correct screws in the correct hole, there's "F" many to choose from (literally A-F). I'm 5'6. If I sit towards the back of the seat, the balls of my barefeet definitely touch, but my heals do not, they miss by an inch, shoes might help. Adding a seat bottom cushion will make this worse, adding height to the seat. The wood seat bottom is comfortable, and I dont much notice the feel of the slat gaps. The seat back is a bit on the short side, no hope to rest your head. It comes just above the bottom of my shoulder blades (aka "wing bones"). Consideri g I dont sit durectly up right much, esp when lounging outside, Im not likely to really notice. The seat bottom is deep enough to add a shallow back pillow; im only adding them for decor, the chair is plenty comfortable. Its also comfortably wide. Note: its not, but I was concerned about "shoddy" workmanship when I saw the little pieces of wood with two pre-screwed in screws, installed at a tiny bit of an angle, not square. See my photos. Initially I thought, "they're under the seat, no one will notice". Forgive me, they are installed intentionally this way! The seat bottom has a very gentle curve down towards the center, the slight wood-piece angle, helps support the seat! Glad I "just went with it" and accepted it for how it was made! So I admit I got these because they were really on sale. The do look great, and from a distance they’re perfect. I put them together earlier this summer. I remember that process being a little frustrating and time consuming, but in the chairs’ defense I hate putting furniture together. They have since become a little more wobbly as the days pass. I think I’ll have to go back and tighten everything up. If that doesn’t work, nothing a few of wood screws probably couldn’t fix. I’m still happy with the purchase, I just wish the remained stable over time. ... show more
