  • Not Just a Budget Book—It’s a 4-Year Game Plan
This isn’t just another finance workbook full of vague advice and blank charts. It actually walks you through every part of managing your money—step by step—with examples, goals, and a structure that makes sense even if you're starting from scratch. From cutting sneaky expenses and building an emergency fund to paying off debt faster and checking in with yourself each year, it’s designed to keep you moving forward without the overwhelm. What I love is how it makes room for real life: your notes, your ideas, even your screw-ups. It’s like having a financial coach and a personal assistant in one—minus the hourly fee. (Side note—somehow I’m spelling-sensitive, so I have to mention: in Chapter 5, it says “right down each loan” when it should be “write down.” But honestly? It’s very well written overall.) • Great formats for monthly/yearly forms, Covers Many Overlooked, Tedious Items
I will say upfront I received a free copy of this book, but it is worth paying for. Creating a budget out of thin air is really hard and while there are a lot of programs online, it does seem to sink in more using "pen and paper" so to speak. I feel like the author has laid out great formats for monthly use as well as calculating the most mysterious of items - Annual Costs. I believe this book will grow with you; what you may not need now, you will find a use for later, and it's already in a format you would then be familiar with. Many thanks to the author! ... show more
