Hands down the BEST fading clippers. Makes doing a bald fade look flawless, effortlessly. I had to buy a 2nd one bc my original pair started getting loud. Had my receipt and filled out the form on the Wahl website. Sent it back and with in a week, they sent me a brand new pair. Wahl is the best at backing their equipment. They will fix em like new or replace them. Their customer service is wonderful. That is another reason they are the best and the only clippers I have ever used. The Vaper is truly the most amazing pair and they keep putting out more…. I can’t wait to see if they come out with a cordless reflection! That would be the best pair!!!! ... show more

⭐️ Review from a professional barber with over 10 years of experience Wahl Clipper Company has truly fallen off a cliff over the past five years when it comes to professional barber tools—and I’ve just been reminded why. I was a loyal Wahl customer for the first seven years of my career, mainly using the Wahl Seniors and Wahl Magic Clips. But after dealing with several clipper failures—especially terrible battery life, where they barely lasted 6–12 months—I finally switched to Babyliss. Fast forward to April 20, 2025: I was in the market for some new clippers and heard some great things about the Wahl Vapors. Honestly, I absolutely loved them at first. They gave me hope that maybe Wahl was making a comeback! But after about a week of use, the lever started to get loose and slide on its own while I was fading—a big “no-no” in our line of work. Even so, I kept using them because I genuinely liked the cut quality and feel. Then today, I flew out to Vegas to do a house call for a very important client, and the clipper lever completely stopped adjusting the blade. I opened them up to see what was wrong and discovered the entire housing where the lever attaches was completely worn out. Worst of all, there’s no replacement part for it, and since I’m outside the 30-day return window, I’m stuck. What a complete waste of $200. Sadly, this is the second pair of Wahl clippers in a row that hasn’t lasted me longer than four months. Never again. These trimmers work great. They’re lightweight, easy to handle, and cut through hair like a hot knife through butter. They’re not overly loud, and the included attachments are enough to get you started right out of the box. Overall, they’re easy to use and perform exactly as expected.

My wife is a dog groomer, so she gives me home haircuts and these haven't been used in a professional setting. We've always used Wahl products and been happy with them, but I was looking for a nicer set of cordless clippers for her to use. We both love these clippers. The package comes with several shorter guards which is nice. They're a good balance between quiet, powerful, and they're lightweight. The battery lasts for several haircuts on a one charge. The cut is nice, no pulling. I have fine, thin hair so I can't attest to how they work on thick/coarse hair. They work great for trimming my beard as well though. The only thing close to a complaint is that they do tend to get hot! We use blade cooling/lubricating spray to cool them off and lubricate the blades as needed. I wish they came with some type of carry case to keep everything organized, but since it doesn't we just put everything back in the original box after use for storage. ... show more

Dual licensed stylist. Professional use Close cut. Long battery. Cordless. Downside. Easy to use but before you finish the cut it gets Gets Hot. Nice attachments. I bought this when it first came out. So excited about the vapor clippers. I loved my Seniors so much I bought 3 pairs. Wahl is losing its position... They need to step it up. Amazon is making unknown brands climb the list of barber tools. The ones in the regular stores are trash. FYI. Waste of money. Go professional. ... show more

Clippers come with guards that clip on the back so they stay in place much better than the cheaper versions. The build quality and materials are great and the switch is super easy to use..and it doesn't get accidentally turned off. Having it be cordless allows for super ease of use and so far the battery lasts a long time and spins the blade very fast for a quick trim. Be aware it is not water proof so if you are looking for a shower trimmer this is not the one...but this is well worth the money and will pay for itself very quickly if you do your own haircuts. ... show more
