These seem really nice, good quality clippers, but I have notes *These do not come with either of the charging bases, nor are they available to purchase separately! this is stated somewhere on the page, but gets lost in the mess. *the beard/trimmer does not come with the color coded guides that are available when bought seperately, also not available to be bought by themselves. I know there are 3rd party ones available, But REALLY?!?! *This is a bit of a nit pick, but the clippers no longer have the Pink spacer inside as shown in most of the product Photos. this is a small aesthetic detail, but on something where this is one of the selling points I feel like the product should be reflected in the photos. IT also really broke up all the green, what gives? *proprietary plugs instead of USB-C like on the shaver. I'm writing this in 2025, even disposable E-waste products come with USB-C now. also cords are standard USB on other end, and no power brick is included. I guess, to be expected, but worth mentioning. this does have the magnetic guides for the clippers, which i would consider an upgrade, but to my hands they don't engage super easy and I think I would prefer the standard Wahl style color coded clip-ons as they usually have much better feel and positive engagement. wish i could comment on usage. sending these back and ordering everything separate for like 20% more cost to get the "complete kit" ... show more

As a self-cutting barber, I’ve been using the Magic Clip for 4.5 years now and never thought I’d even consider another brand. I loved how effortless the fades were with the Magic Clip. The blade would get hot after a bit (especially in those latter blending the bottom stages where it’s sometimes a constant struggle to get rid of the line), but I didn’t think much of it since any barber I’ve ever gone to would basically touch my scalp with a branding iron clipper. Anyway, as luck would have it, my Magic Clip started to go (wouldn’t hold charge, motor issues, etc.) — even after all the cleaning procedures. In comes TPOB. A great set priced excellently with all the tools you need to get started. I charged everything per specs then got to work. Let me tell you: this Slime set is fantastic! The clipper blade stayed cool to the touch the entire haircut (usually takes me about 35-45 mins). The click mechanism is great as you’re adjusting so you know exactly where you are and will hear it if you accidentally flick the lever while cutting. The trimmer was able to cut through the remaining hair under the fade like a hot knife through butter! This thing didn’t sputter or falter once! I was previously using the Detailer and if I didn’t cut my hair first with the clipper, this thing would get stuck every other stroke. It was insane. But the TPOB trimmer? Not a problem! It also has a guard around the motor mechanism to prevent hair from really getting in there and causing damage. Lastly, the shaver is the tiniest little powerhouse I’ve ever seen! Fits right in the palm of your hand but gets the job done perfectly! This is a great set that feels well-made and durable and will last a bit. Each piece is made of a plastic body but they don’t feel like they will fall apart. For the clipper, the included guard attachments range from 1/2 up to 4 (6 total). The guards themselves are also plastic but seem durable as well. Definitely an easy to use, well-constructed set that will feel familiar to Magic Clip or Senior users. Let’s see what happens over time, but as of now I definitely recommend TPOB! ... show more
