  • amazing-worth your money
Color: Blackout 3 Set
best clippers, trimmers, and foil shavers i’ve ever tried. they aren’t loud at all and they’re heavy duty. i like that they have extra clicks so you can go between more sizes without changing your guard as much, it really helps me personally with blending. i will say they are a little heavier than other tools ive held but they’re still super easy to maneuver and use, they’re a good size, id say they’re smaller than other tools but they’re still good quality. very sleek looking and all of the attachments and cleaning tools that came with them work well!! they are cordless so you can use them on the go, you just plug them in to charge them and they flash green until they’re charged and they turn solid green. if you’re looking for good quality tools THIS is what you should get. i get compliments on them all the time and everyone at my work has either the pink ones, green ones, white ones, or these ones! ... show more

  • Absolutely Amazing, 5 of 5 Stars
Color: White
The short review: As I write this, Amazon is selling the black/color for $97, and my white/black was $129. It’s worth every penny of the higher cost. My direct and to-the-point recommendation is that if you're looking at these at all, get one. Look at the professional reviews of these and you’ll discover these are exceptionally highly regarded; I trust the guys who use these every day to put food on their table and a roof over their heads. Seriously, 5 of 5 stars and I’d give it bonus points if I could. The long review: If you’re worried about overpaying for something that a $30 clipper can do, I get it. $30 clippers are cheap and tend to break when dropped, aren’t well aligned, and are noisy. The blades dull quickly and you wind up with imprecise and uneven cuts. Do they cut hair? Sure, but it isn’t ever going to be a truly great cut and it’ll take a lot longer to do. How do I know? Because I did that for probably two decades before I finally got a professional quality clipper, an Andis ProAlloy. I think that set me back something like $120 back in 2002, which is more like double that in today’s money. It has paid for itself many, many times over. Recently, I’ve started to note a decline in performance and thought maybe it was time to explore cordless options. I’m sure the Andis would function as good as ever with a new blade and a little tuning, and I plan on doing that, but I figured I’d see how things had changed, and so decided to investigate cordless options. My background in barberism (get it?): On deployment a fellow Airman shoved a clipper at me and asked me to cut his hair. I’d never done it before. The basic buzz was easy as pie. As the deployment went along, I learned to taper and fade. I’m not a pro, and may never be, but I can make good basic cuts and I tend to cut my hair a lot better than barbers who charge quite a bit to ultimately frustrate me. Cuts being anywhere from $25-70 plus a tip make it awfully economical to cut your own hair, and frankly, it’s a lot easier than it might seem. With this as my basis for purchase, it was pretty easy to justify cheap clippers, and frankly, easier every day to justify quite expensive ones. Top of the line clippers are anywhere from $300-500 (very few in that top range). Most of the pros are using ones around $200-300. That’s four to six (or less) cuts worth of money and now you can do it yourself. These are selling for $98-$130 right now, which is even fewer trips to the barber per dollar. I watched a bunch of videos that professionals were making. I literally could not find a bad review of these, and in fact found nothing but glowing reviews. Everything they said about the clipper is precisely what I discovered when I finally got it in my hands. They’re absurdly quiet. The shape seems like it might not be all that ergonomic but as soon as you put it in your hand, you understand entirely; feels amazing. It’s got a metal body with a rubberized grip that isn’t so grippy that hair wants to stick to it; it’s more like slightly more grippy plastic if that makes any sense. The blade is incredibly sharp and you can darned near shave with it; use caution edging/blocking; it didn’t cut me, but you can certainly tell if you’re aggressive that it will (so a trimmer is in order unless you’re doing very light touch). You can zero gap them and comes with a tool to let you do that. For those of you who don’t know, zero-gapping is removing the distance between the stationary blade (the one on the ‘back’ of the clipper) and the cutting blade (the one between the top of the clipper and the stationary blade) which effectively shaves you. You can also adjust this to whatever gap you’d like. And the lever has detents; most clippers that cost less will have a ‘floating’ lever to adjust the closeness of the cut. This makes it MUCH easier to get the correct length since you know exactly how many ‘clicks’ you’ve moved the blade gap. The blade itself is incredibly sharp and precise. It stays cool which greatly extends blade sharpness and life, but also makes the clippers more efficient. There’s very little going over the same spot again; it just cuts. I cannot say enough good things about this clipper. As the pros consistently say, this is every bit as good as MUCH more expensive clippers, and better than a great many that cost much more. If you need a good set, this is it. ... show more

  • Powerful, Reliable Clippers With Pro-Level Performance
Color: White 3 Set
I’ve been using the TPOB Play Barber Hair Clippers for Men (Model 75) and I’m very impressed with the performance. The clippers are powerful, cut smoothly, and don’t pull or snag hair. They feel solid in the hand and are well-balanced, which makes them comfortable to use for longer sessions. The blades stay sharp and give clean, precise cuts, whether you’re doing fades, lineups, or full haircuts. Battery life is also excellent and lasts through multiple cuts without needing a recharge. Overall, these clippers deliver professional-level results at a great value. Highly recommended for barbers or anyone doing home cuts who wants reliable, high-quality tools. ... show more

  • Great clippers, not so good charging base
Color: White
I think a few others have mentioned this, and it's true about the charging base. Maybe the contacts do not touch not enabling the clipper to charge, maybe a loose connection inside? Who knows. Not using the base and just connecting directly to the bottom of the clipper did charge the clipper. Now to the clipper itself. I cut my own hair and have been for well over 30 years. I went from a basic whal clipper and thought my haircuts were good enough. But let me tell you, with these clippers I get a better fade due to the adjustments. I always had a corded clipper, these are lightweight and not loud at all. I'm used to the heft of my old one that a couple times I thought I was going to drop these being that they were so light. Battery life is pretty good. I cut my hair once every other week and the charge lasted about 4 months. I hope these last a long time as my corded one still runs strong, have had those for about 20 years. I just wanted to finally try a cordless and a more "professional" style of clipper and so far I'm satisfied. ... show more

  • Tpob clipper/trimmer combo FTW
Color: Blackout 2 Set
Can’t beat this set! Awesome value for the price! You get a top-notch clipper and sharp cutting trimmers. I was skeptical at first but decided to pull the trigger since competitors were charging almost triple the price just for the clipper alone. They got a good feel in the hand and give confidence that the build quality is excellent. I had a Babyliss trimmer and compared, this one is stealthily quiet. They’re ready to use out the box and very easy on the skin while still hitting hard. I would definitely recommend! ... show more

  • They actually cut!
Color: Blackout 2 Set
I’m not a professional by any means but I definitely know the difference between cheap and quality clippers. I won’t drop any names but I bought a pair of cheaper ones off amazon (not TPOB) and my goodness they would barely cut!! I actually stopped cutting my hair cause of how badly they sucked. Then I came across TPOB, this was such a good deal for the bundle and they actually cut good! The trimmer actually trims and the main clippers are nice too. I would highly recommend these, can’t go wrong with these at all if you’re looking for affordability and good quality. ... show more
