  • Works great for me
Size: 915 Steam
I don't use this often but when I do, it's a workhorse. I get around a half hour to 45 min of steam before I have to refill it. It has several different attachments for your needs and fires out the steam forcefully. It's easy to use and compact in size to move it around somewhat easily. You just have do deal with the hose and power cord. It works great on my sliding glass door track at loosening up weathered dirt/grit that accumulates and makes the door slide more smoothly. I also use it in the bathroom on the shower pan and around the sinks. Steam pretty much kills everything so that's another bonus where you won't need chemicals ... show more

  • I wish I got a steam cleaner 25 years ago.
Size: 915 Steam
I've had this for a little over a week. So far I love it. I'm talking about having a steam cleaner in general, not this product in particular. I've gotten things a lot cleaner than I could before with just cleaner and a rag. A rag just spreads the dirt around. Not to mention all the water that is required with the constant rinsing. This isn't a miracle worker, there is still time and wiping involved. It really loosens things up and generally doesn't require scrubbing, just a wipe down of the surface. I love that it gets into all the cracks, crevices, and seams that I could not get too before. I've used it on my oven door and broiler pans with the hard brush head attachment. It takes a lot of work but compared to using cleaners/baking soda/hot water it seems to be more effective and the scrubber head does the elbow work. I haven't gotten them completely done though. I think maybe a combination of cleaners and the steamer would be best for that purpose. I still have a lot I want to use it on. It doesn't remove set in stains, you will need help with things like that. I don't have any carpeting so cannot comment on that. It does work on walls. You need to be cautious on painted surfaces an appliance enamels. Light steam is best for those so you don't remove the paint. Flat paint is more difficult to clean, but on semi-gloss and satin it works pretty well. I've been able to clean things that are high up. You do need to watch for dripping water when reaching overhead. I've also used it to loosen adhesives and gummy items. You will still need to scrape them up but they come up easily after steaming. Another big benefit is that it sanitizes. I'm using it to sanitize toys for our church nursery. It says not to use it on hardwood floors because it might warp the wood, but I have used it cautiously on some spots and it did all right. I just used it briefly and kept water wiped up. I really regret not getting a steam cleaner years ago. It would have made move out cleaning of base housing and apartments so much easier. I've been using it almost every day. I plan on using it in the kitchen at least twice a week and in the bathrooms once a week. I've been using it for heavy cleaning and general daily/weekly household chores. For this product in particular: I love the long hose and the two extensions. I have a very high ceiling and I have not been able to clean it or the upper wall areas yet. I bought it for this purpose. (I still have to get to that). With the wands and long hose I should be able to reach the high corners just by standing on my step stool. (I'm afraid of heights so don't get on ladders) My original purpose in buying this is that it would loosen the grime so that I could wipe it off with a mop head or Swiffer. I don't think that will be a problem. The cord is really short. That makes it difficult for the lower level of my home where there are sections with no outlets. I also wish the cord was retractable or had something on the unit to wrap it around. The hose is really long, which I like, but when storing I don't quite know what to do with it. The hinges on the cover already broke. The cover kept coming off. I'll need to take a pic I think to illustrate. I don't really mind because it saves opening and closing it to get to the water tank and brush heads. I think the cover is mostly for aesthetic purposes. That might bother some people, though. I think Wagner needs to look at a solution to that. It only comes with one cloth for the large scrubber head. I need more but don't know where to get them or which ones are compatible. I've seen generic ones I just need to measure to see what size to get. ... show more

  • A bit cumbersome
Size: 905 Steam
This is a nice steamer, it's my first one so I really don't have anything to compare it to. It did not take off the things that I thought maybe it should have. I feel like I still have to scrub a little with it. But once I scrub a little bit it seems like it takes off whatever's left. It did not work well on my stove or oven like I was hoping it would. It did work pretty well on my kitchen cabinets though and on my shower. My only complaint about it is that it does not have a compartment to put all of the attachments in only the smallest ones will fit. So it makes it a little bit cumbersome to pull in and out. ... show more

  • Works well but needs breaks between use
Size: 925 Steam
The steamer heats up quickly and does a good job removing wrinkles, but it doesn’t work continuously for long — you have to wait a bit for the steam to build up again. It’s still useful for small batches of clothes, just not ideal for long steaming sessions.

  • Needs some elbow work for tough jobs, but results are rewarding.
Size: 915 Steam
I haven't used a steam cleaner since I was 17. It looked like a mini Zamboni for cleaning floors, when I was a student at Northfield Mt Hermon school , and it was my job. And when I went to work summers there. I didn't know how small it was. But good things come in small packages. I've been a bachelor for 25 years. I came home to care for my Mother 20 years ago. She kept the house neat as long as she could. I was a Factory Rep, long hours on the road, 200-400 miles a day. House work wasn't my bag, Dad. When she passed I worked even more. After 10-12 hours, who wants to do housework? Now I'm retired, for the 2nd time. This place is a mess. I need help. So I bought this. The bath is horrible. I take a shower. I go out, do a little yard work, go do some photography, go for a long bike ride. Take a shower. My Daughter needs a place to live for a while, so I told her Sure! "Can you clean the bath?" So, I bought this. Who cares what the bath looks like, as long as I'm clean? It took over three hours. I'd fill it and wait 10 minutes for it to heat up till the light went off. At 40 ounces it has one of the biggest tanks and a good rating. Of course I did it on the hottest days of the month. in the end, it was worth it. She came in to help with cleaning, took a look at the bath, and said "WOW! It's a snap to use, but as some people have said, it's hard on your hand to hold the trigger. I have strong hands, and after the full 40 minutes it wore me down. Then there's a 30 minute wait until your next session. The results are worth it. This is a 61 year old bathtub with little care. The black spots need to be filled in with grout repair. But it needs more than one microfiber cloth for the "clothes steamer", what I used to clean the tiles and the tub. 5 would be nice. And the large floor brush runs the steam down fast. You have to stop and wait to get full power. And the "large" brushes are tiny. 4 inches would be nice. My next attack will be the 30 year old No Wax floor in the kitchen. Watch this space, it's coming tomorrow. Oh, and I also bought distilled water at the grocery. Distilled water is $1.49 a gallon. White vinegar is $2.99 a gallon, and requires a 30 minute cleaning time if you use tap water. I prefer using the time to ride my bicycles. After 3 hours cleaning time, I've used 1/3 gallon. ... show more
