The media could not be loaded. I ordered this recovery suit for my foster pup to wear after her spay surgery. I have another suit but thought this may be a bit better since this one is sleeveless. It’s cute, I like the easy on, easy off design and it’s adjustable. I don’t think this will work for a male dog as the exposed booty part defeats the purpose of a recovery suit, but it’s great for female dogs or cats. Maybe the only thing I would recommend is adding a small closure to the neck, over the zipper, to prevent her from accidentally unzipping it as she wiggles around, trying to get it off. She is squirmy and has wiggled her way out of two other suits. But so far so good with this one.

I purchased this surgical recovery suit for my 17 pound Pug/Maltese mix who is 9 years young. TLDR: Would purchase again and highly recommend. I strongly suggest getting two so that you have a backup for while one is being laundered. If you like details — here is more about our experience: Our little doggy had surgery to remove her spleen, perform a gastropexy, and a biopsy of her liver (she had a small splenic mass). Her incision was 6-8cm long on her abdomen, and recovery time is 10-14 days. That is a long time to wear a cone or an inflatable collar! We took the recovery suit to our vet the day of surgery, and they happily put it on her afterwards during post-op recovery/observation. They had no issues at all with it. It was simple, straightforward, and easy to put on. The suit has been a lifesaver! We feel it has had a calming effect on our dog. She seems to like having it on — like a security blanket. We practiced putting it on and taking it off prior to surgery to get her used to the garment. She wore it for a few hours each day for several days leading up to her procedure. It goes on easily and removes easily, even for a doggy who is recovering from major abdominal surgery! We have laundered it already, and it seems to be well-made. The fabric is soft and stretchy. It seems to be a comfortable fit (we are on day 5 today). The seams are solid and there doesn’t seem to be any pulling. Fits as indicated — we measured our girl and based on her measurements, she would need a Medium suit. It fits well. Snug in the right ways, but not too snug. Plenty of give in the fabric. I love the zipper for being able to get it over her head (on and off) more easily. Plus, as a dog with a scruffy coat, it helps to pull her hair less with a larger opening. Her incision has been kept clean and dry. There has been no issue with rubbing or chaffing on her legs, or her incision. She is not able to get the garment off herself, and she cannot get at her incision to lick or chew. Taking her outside to potty has been simple, too. We just unfasten the Velcro and refasten it in front of her back legs instead of around the back. No fussing to get it on/off. Very quick and easy. No messes and truly hassle-free. Very happy with our purchase!

This little suit fits my 10 pound jack Russell very well. I was hoping it would fit my 12 pounder as well as the range was 10 to 15 pounds but it is too tight. if you get this, I suggest you measure your dog and go by the measurements. It’s nice and soft appears like it will stay on well and is fairly easy to put on if your dog is used to wearing clothes. I would probably fold back the back Velcro for potty breaks as it is mostly out-of-the-way but there’s still the potential for it to get soiled. Overall, I’m happy with it. I am going to get the next size up for my larger girl.

Super soft fabric and easy to put on and take off. I would say the only con was it was too small. I measured correctly but my dog was very uncomfortable. Great product I would just order a bigger size if your dog is right one the verge size wise.

Purchased this for my puppy’s spay surgery as an alternative to the neck cones. It worked well and was cute too. It served the post surgery purpose but will come in handy when my pup needs an extra little layer of warmth at night. Great quality and super soft stretchy fabric too

My dogs are twelve pounds and I ordered the small. It was a perfect fit. I like the material it was stretchy. The problem is the velcro. My puppies were able to undo the velcro. I had to tie the straps together.

I purchased one for my foster dog who was having a spay surrgery. Found them to be a great alternative to wearing a cone. They are so easy to put on, and they are comfortable for the pet. I also ordered a couple more in bigger sizes.Very easy to wash i just tossed them in the wash and laid it flat to dry.

My Goldendoodle is 30 pounds, with a long torso and a thin frame with lots of fluff. I was a little concerned about the sizing but I went with the XL for the length and it was the right thing to do. It’s loose-ish around her body but the length is perfect, and it seems pretty comfortable for her. She used it recovering from her spay. I unvelcro it and pull it toward her head just a little bit for her to go potty. The fabric is thin, but it seems like that’s all the deterrent she needs not to lick. This is perfect for what it was designed to do.
