First the bad. I had to take a star off because I am unable to use these with my glasses on. I know the eyepieces are supposed to fold down for glasses but try as I might, I was unable to make them stay folded down. Finally gave up and just decided to use these without glasses. Carrying around my Bushnell or Nikon binoculars gets old fast as they're heavy. These don't measure up in sharpness or field of vision, but they are small, light weight, and very portable. Having something with you at all times is better than not having something to use when you need it. I was pleasantly surprised at seeing how well this inexpensive pair of binoculars worked. They have a nice feel and are covered with a hard rubber. The right eye has the diopter adjustable setting. This adjustment turns a bit hard but once in place, it's done. It does have a narrow field of vision width which is to be expected with 12x magnification and a small lens (12x25). It's rated at a 126 meter field of view at 1000 meters (7.2°). Closer observations make it narrower so it can get a bit jumpy and difficult to still the view. The lenses are coated giving a sharp bright view. It's not as sharp as my Nikon but is only 1/10 the price. The instructions say the eyecups fold up and down but I haven't figured whether that's this model or another. The eyecups are soft but don't appear to move or fold. The barrels fold in for putting in the case and out for adjusting to your eye width. When these fold inward they become almost pocket-sized. They come with a string strap, a velcro-closed case, and a small lens cleaning cloth. I tried to take a picture through one lens with my iPhone to show the sharpness but I couldn't get the camera image in focus. 5 stars - Carry these anywhere without too much to worry about. ... show more

Because this pair of binoculars by VULNESS is so compact, you are more likely to want to bring it wherever you go. You can easily travel with it or just skip it in your bag for when you need it. I like how easy it is to focus. It claims it can be used at night as well but I have not had a chance to test that claim out just yet. I have used this at my daughter's school auditorium and have found it valuable to have to see her on stage among a sea of other students. They could have easily charged more than the $12 (cost at the time of this review) which is why this is such a great purchase. You will not regret having this in your possession. I almost didn't order these because the price is so low, so I assumed they'd be low quality, but they work better than my full-sized $60 pair, and they are so much more hiker-friendly! I can fit these in the water bottle pocket on the side of my pack for easy access, and they're light enough that the added weight is negligible. Also, my brother--whose eyes are pretty bad--can use these without his glasses on and sees crystal clear, which is so cool to me (this may be obvious to some, but I think it's worth pointing out!). He asked me to order him a pair as well, and for $12, why wouldn't I?! 10/10, highly recommend ... show more

The binoculars work surprisingly well. I bird watch with them and the clarity is good. Adjusting it is simple. My sister used them and changed the focus, but it only took a few seconds for me to refocus them back for my eyes. The case has a belt loop, which I like and use. These come in a nice little case which can be mounted on your belt. They fold up to a very compact size. They offer a very clear after you very easily set the focus. Take them anywhere, keep them in the car. These are very portable!
