I was shopping this weekend and when I came out there was a guy with his hood up. I asked if I could help. He paused a minute and then said I need a jump. He paused because I am a 72 year old woman and did not appear to be mechanically inclined. He really paused when I came back from my truck (yes I am 72 and drive a truck) carrying this little black package and handed it to him. He opened it and said This will start my car? And it did. Piece of cake. He then said I need to get one of these. The moral of this story is old people know how to get things going. I wanted to see if this charger would do what it said it would do so when I got it I used it on a battery that I knew was completely dead and unchargeable. It started immediately from dead and then pumped up the tire with no problem at all. I was so impressed that I immediately ordered another and actually got it cheaper. My son bought his wife one of these for his wife, he had to use the Vehicle Start portion of it, as her battery went dead, said it cranked it right up, he loves it. I bought 2 of them, one for my wife's car and one for my truck. I have used the air compressor several times. It is so easy to use. I have one tire that seems to seep air, so I have to pump it up. I even did on the side of the road, too easy. Bunch of YouTube videos online to watch how to use, along with manufacturer website. I love it, HIGHLY RECOMMEND purchase this. I used to have to go to the shed and get my air compressor and hose out of my shed, but now I just grab this put on the air nozzle, set the pressure, pumps it up, and stops automatically while telling you the current air pressure. ... show more

So at first I loved it. It pumped tires quickly and stopped on it's own when the right pressure was reached. In the winter a pressure light comes on for the tires and plus turns out I have a slow leak in one. So I've used it about 10 times since purchased on Feb 14. On April 6 I found the tip of the hose to pump your tire had broken off in the machine. I contacted customer service. While they responded within 24 hours, their warranty didn't cover it. "we are unable to provide replacement parts or warranty services for man-made damage. Since you mentioned that the part had broken off and the screws were still attached to the machine, this is considered a form of man-made damage." So normal usage isn't covered. So now it's just a battery jump starter. Edit: Soon after this posted the seller actually asked me to give them another chance and sent me a replacement hose! It's working great and all is well. Easy to use, not too noisy when used as an air compressor. Just a very handy thing to have around. I haven't used it as a jump start device but I have a friend who has and he said he has used it several times and it works great.

I have a hunting cabin with a mower, ATV's etc that always get low tire pressure or batteries. This thing works like a champ getting their tires aired up and jump starts if necessary. I haven't tried airing up my 2500 truck to 75psi, but it works for mowers and ATV's. Far better than dragging around a 50lb pancake compressor or pushing them to the compressor/jump starter. ... show more

Time and Headache Saver. Bought this a few months ago, just had to use when I left car heater and lights on too long with engine off,(Got distracted). Immediately thought may have to call AAA for a jump start but remembered for winter had stored VTOMAN X5 in trunk in case of emergency. Took me about 3 minutes to restart car, almost couldn't believe how easy it was (although had to kind of guess how to use but vaguely remembered from when I first bought it), Thought I might have to wait 10 minutes for it to recharge the battery but waited just a minute, hopped in car, restarted instantly, disconnected unit then was on my way. Will buy this again as present for our adult children. Note: instructions could be made larger and easier to see and understand and buttons on unit should be highlighted in silver type print to easier see. Have not used tire pump yet but pump came on when I was pushing buttons to get it going. (Pump went off when I repushed correct button) ... show more
