This little batterypack jump starter is a BEAST! My older 2005 MDX is having alternator/battery problems and the battery slowly dies within 1-2 weeks with light use and it's a pain to have to plug in a wall unit and wait for it to charge. Worse yet, I've had my battery poop out on me while I've been away from home and had to ask strangers to jump me with their car, very awkward! Now I just have to make sure I've got some charge in my vtoman pack in the trunk and my mind is at ease. Clip on the red and black prongs, push the boost button and my car just starts up like it's 100%. This gives me a chance to drive and get some charge back in the battery or at the very least get me home to properly charge it. Great purchase! ... show more

I had a garaged Porsche 911 on a battery charger/maintainer that apparently was not fully seated....so the battery died. Even after having the battery charger/maintainer reseated and a few days on, it would not start. Ordered this, and it seemed to come fully charged. Connected the device and press the Boost button and my car roared back to life easily. Would highly recommend having this jump starter in your garage or your trunk. ... show more

I got this to put in my truck which we take hiking a lot. We are always on dirt roads where we seldom see people and sometimes, we never see another car all day. I have jumper cables in the truck but if you never see anyone that doesn’t help at all. So, this is a great thing to have, I can jump start my vehicle out in the middle of nowhere, with no help from anyone. Even if you don’t get lost in the wilderness like I do this is a very useful device. These days, it can be hard to find someone who will let you use their vehicle to jump yours. This avoids having to find someone who will help and makes getting your vehicle started quicker and easier. This is a well-built product. The smart cable is super nice, it tells you, and prevents damage, if you have the clips on the wrong terminals. It also tells you if it thinks your battery is weak and therefore it needs a boost or not. Finally, it has an indicator for those rare cases when something is completely wrong with the battery. Hooking it up to my truck where I know the battery is Ok, but getting old, it showed solid green, indicating the battery should be able to start the truck (it does for now, but I can tell its starting to die). The device has some other nice features as well. It has an LED light you can turn on to help you see when hooking the device up. It also has multiple USB outputs (A and C) so that you can charge your phone or other device if you need to. I’ve seen a lot of these larger battery-operated devices with them now but on this one it makes a lot of sense. If you are stranded somewhere and the vehicle won’t start, even with this jumper, and your phone is dead, you can just charge your phone and call for help. Overall, a really nice device to have if you travel much on roads less travelled or are worried your vehicle won’t start when you need it most.     • This little powerful jump starter punches almost all of the cards!

This small light box is almost as powerful as a much larger industrial truck starter, and way more portable and convenient! It started my JD tractor easily with no battery attached, and spun the starter faster than the new battery I got for the tractor! To say the least, I am impressed. For what it can do, it is extremely reasonable. It is also a good power bank, and will recharge your phone or other things. Even after doing that, it still has plenty of power left to do the job it was intended to do. To start my tractor without a battery, it needed to have you push the emergency start button on the cables, which takes off the safety features. Be sure if you use this feature that you have the polarity correct. It does work like a charm though. The only reason I said it punches almost all the cards is because it does not include a compressor to inflate a flat tire. However, given how well this works and it's price, your really better off getting a dedicated compressor inflator that also works off your battery. I really like this jump starter, and it will have a permanent place in my emergency box that stays in the car! I highly recommend this! ... show more
