I really like the style of the Vornado products which is the main reason I purchase them. They have always functioned well as a bonus. This heater has a beautiful design that if tipped in any direction immediately shuts off. There is a toggle switch for two voltages which allow for more or less heat. The only down side is; it does not seem possible to adjust the fan speed which can be a bit noisy. Additionally, there is a dial on the back to control the temperature. This heater has a plastic casing which allows it to remain cool to the touch. I literally picked it up moving from one room to another and the casing was not even warm to the touch. I bought this brand because it was a directional heater (meaning the heat blew in one direction like a fan). They made it seem in the video as though this little thing is powerful and would do a good job of cycling the air. Maybe it would after 45 minutes for a small-sized room like a closet. I think this little thing is only good to have at your feet if you're at your desk, to be honest. I thought with the price, it would be higher value and a better-made product but I was wrong. This little hot air fan is so flimsy and has such a weak heat output. As you can see on the back it has two modes, low heat, and high heat. I pretty much need high heat and the way that most of my space heaters work is if you put it on high heat it stays blowing for a while (I mostly have to turn them off before 30 minutes). After I put it on high heat, the second mode (which honestly is the only one that gives me the results I need) I'm not even lying to you, without the room even getting the least bit warm, after 2 minutes of it running it shuts off. I didn't touch it, I wasn't moving, it just shut off and would not work at all. So now I'm left sitting in a cold room with it staring back at me as if to say, "Hmm? What?". I waited 10 minutes and then it was finally able to turn on again. I don't know what the heck is product is but it is so subpar that I'm actually disappointed. I would have expected more for a $70 product like this. I wasn't expecting anything stellar, I was not expecting an industrial heating fan, but I WAS expecting it to at least be *better* than the $25 heaters I owned in the past. I'm sending it back and I'm staying as far away from Vornado heaters as possible in the future. Vornado fans are amazing and I own two of them; the power of those things is enough to blow your hair out of your follicles, but this thing... This thing I imagine is what they would prey on. I like the design, but it is much smaller than I excepted. The airflow is better than my other space heater, however the vornado is also louder. The fan speed is nice for getting the heat to you, however I would argue that this little heater is unable to heat up my living room. I put a pillow in front of it and the heater shut off in seconds. The heater really doesn’t get hot to the touch either. Like most heaters, temperature gage is very inconsistent. I would recommend to people with children, as the heater seems very safe. Also, people with the money who like the aesthetic. If you are on a budget, a cheaper heater will do about the same job. ... show more

I 've had this for a year only for the winter and while i think its design to warm a room after a long while by bouncing off all the walls. It just does not feel like its blowing out hot air.. just a lot of warm air. I think for the money you can get another space heater thats bigger and can warm things up way faster. ... show more

I absolutely love this little heater! The design is on point and so compact. The safety features are well thought out. I love that there’s both a toggle on/off switch and a temperature dial with its own on/off switch and built-in temp control. That way, I can just keep the switch toggled on and set the dial to the temperature I want and easily just turn it off and on with voice command using Google assistant! For a small heater, it warms up my room super quick. Do take note that it’s not very tall so I’d recommend propping it up on a shelf or at the very least swivel it so it points upwards and towards a direction where the heat flow will circulate easily all over the room. Lastly, the customer service is on point! My first one wouldn’t turn on after a long spring-summer hibernation period and since it was still under warranty, I contacted the company and within a few days they sent me another one, perfect for the soon-to-be chilly 2021 winter. I had high hopes for this space heater since I own one of Vornado's excellent fans, but I would not buy this heater again. (It died within 5 weeks of my purchase, which to the company's credit they replaced it under warranty with no hassles). The temperature "control" is basically useless--if you imagine the control as a clock with #1 as the lowest heat setting and #12 as the highest, the only part that does anything is from #1 to #2. There's no way to set it at, for example, to 78 degrees and it cycles on and off properly like every other space heater I have ever owned. Bad design. ... show more
