Absolutely worth the money
I’m really impressed with these Vornado fans. I can’t say that about any other room fans I’ve ever bought, which are usually made of cheap plastic, fall apart easily, and don’t really cool the room. I bought the Vornado 630 Mid-Size Whole Room Air Circulator Fan in June 2022 (3 years ago) for my upstairs office. I live in a 1905-built house with no A/C. That fan has been going strong for 3 years. It’s relatively quiet, is incredibly sturdy, and does a stellar job of keeping me cool. Since I love the 630 so much, in June 2025, I bought the Vornado 602 Whole Room Air Circulator Pedestal Fan for my living room. I am equally impressed with this fan. It’s the perfect size, has incredible fan power, cools the room, and is sturdy. Both fans have 3 speeds, which are perfect. This is a genuine case of “you get what you pay for.” These fans are a little pricier than those cheap $20 standing fans you might buy at a big store, but they’re absolutely worth it. You won’t need to replace these every year like you have to do with the cheap ones. I’m going to buy another Vornado fan for my bedroom. I rarely review products but I feel like this company focuses on making great products, and people should know about them. They should be commended for their commitment to quality. ... show more

Staying cool
My husband and I love this fan. You can raise or lower it. It has a lot of blowing power. Even on low at night we can feel it very well. Great fan. We actually have another one that is not on a stand. But you can feel it across our whole basement. Love these fans,

Awesome!
Review Image by C. Chuateco
Summertime in CA. I originally bought this fan last season just in case. It had such a small footprint that I can leave in my bedroom, move to my home gym, or just box up. I pulled it out a few months ago and now that its getting hot, I can't believe how much air this thing moves on High setting. I have it by my window now and blasted it once the sun went down. Me and my dogs already feel the difference. I've tried quite a lot of fans by my window - nothing cooled my room in minutes lke this fan can do. As long as the air outside is cool, you'll feel the breeze immediately hit you and your room will cool in mins. So impressed and glad I purchased it. If air doesn't circulate in your space well, get this fan! Highly recommend! ... show more

It really moves the air!
For being a rather small fan, it moves the air around my 12' x 15' room easily. I had a tower fan that just went out and needed a replacement. Because this was a fan with adjustable height, and coupled with its air moving capability, I settled on this one. I also have a slightly larger Vornado tabletop model I keep on the floor to quickly cool off my bedroom (Texas summers!) while also using the stand fan. The main reason I bought the fan was to sleep with it on at night. It reaches right where I need it to and blows enough air at me, whichever way it's aimed at me. Great fan for my needs! The only shortcoming is it's not an oscillating fan nor does it have remote. For the most part it's on most of the day and the air is constantly swirling around my room without any adjustments or settings except to turn it on and set the fan speed. Great little fan! ... show more

It does what it says...
This is not your traditional standing fan that just blows in one direction. If placed correctly this fan can quickly make a mini hurricane in any room. I always tilt mine towards a corner of my ceiling to help bring out the cool air that resides near the floor. It's also great for pushing out smoke or other unwanted Gastly things. To my standards its not that loud but its certainly not quiet either, but after a while you won't pay attention to it anymore. Overall it is a great investment. ... show more

Works well in my bedroom
I cannot stand to have the ceiling fan on over my bed but need some air movement. This fan is the best solution I have found for the room. On low speed the noise level is an acceptable level of white noise for me and aimed diagonally across the room provides a good amount of circulation across the room without blowing directly on me. The air vortex concept employed by Vornado allow one to experience circulating air without having it blow directly on a person. I am a "fan" of Vornado products (sorry, LOL) and have a couple of others in the house. I recently retired a Vornado that we had used almost daily for over 20 years, so am hopeful this new one will give the same level of service. ... show more

Love it!
Fan is well built and provides fantastic power. With that being said, it is fairly loud. It’s super easy to use with 4 settings (Off, high, medium, and low). My wife and I absolutely love it!

Great but too hard to clean
I love this fan and I think it outperforms all other fans I have tried. But it is very difficult to disassemble to clean. I have youtubed it and no luck. We finally took the leaf blower to it but I want to wash the blades.
