My husband found a chef position 3 miles from home. Instead of buying another car, we decided to try the Vobet adult electric scooter to save money. We charge it every night to make sure that it has enough battery for his two way commute. My husband said that it takes him about 15-20min in the morning to go to work depending on the side walk conditions. He said that the ride is pretty steady with the large wheels especially when there is uneven pavement on the side walks or overnight frost or salt on the ground. He said the break system works well. No tripping so far lol. I asked him if his boss let him park the scooter inside the restaurant, and he said he is able to fold up the scooter to put in the storage area. We both think this is a good investment considering the cost of gasoline and a vehicle not to mention car insurance and possible repair.

I had this scooter for 2 weeks when the electric failed and I got hurt due to the scooter shutting off while I was riding it. I attempted to contact the manufacturer to get it fixed and received no help. I ask for a refund after multiple contacts with Amazon with no help and finally after I sent it back I received a partial refund. After I saw I was not getting the full amount back I received help from an Amazon associate who told me after the refund was fully processed I had to call back to get the full refund. I called back to get the full amount back and the Amazon agent told me it wasn't possible cause it was a restocking fee even though the scooter was literally broken and couldn't even turn on. The agent proceeded to hang up on me when I asked to speak with someone else. I'm really over Amazon not doing the stuff they say they will.

The Scooter is fun for Adult and Teenager riding. Battery life on initial 1 week trial seems good charged it once and after several rides around the neighborhood still at 3 bars! Really seems solid. The locking mech for breakdown carry is stiff and does take some effort but it works so far! It’s fast enough to make you know it and think about it for sure! Fast enough for me no doubt, 15-19 mph was easy but was also able to ride along side my granddaughter at 6 mph with no issues balancing! Stops quickly with a little feedback. The front brake does take some getting used to but mange-able. The voice option seemed to pull up stuff but in a different language so not sure about that might be me so still looking at that? Over all so far so good wish us luck for sure!

Having a great time riding my new scooter! It does lose some power on big hills as I suspected. It has a really great range, I’ve cruised around on mine for many miles. Battery life seems good, I’ve had no issues whatsoever. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the phone app. The app has 3 settings to control the speed at which you can ride. It also controls the headlight. I would be much happier if I could turn on the headlight with a switch on the scooter. There’s a speedometer on the handlebars and it’s set to KM/H. There’s an option to change it to MPH in the app, but my scooter doesn’t respond.

I have taken it around my home several days . It is good scooter. Good speed, up to 18Mph. Don’t think about dangerous because dual breaking systems. Stopping quickly even at higher speeds. Good size : 46*19*43 . I don’t feel crowded, it has lots of space for me and my little daughter. Good stability: 8.5 inch solid tires. It can hold over 250 pounds, my weight 150 and my daughter 45 pounds. I still feel good even on bumpy roads. Good at folding : make me easy to fold and store. Whether at home or at the park . I am happy about app. I can use on my phone to change setting . And the LED control display , the indicator shows the driving mode speed and battery etc. Overall . I highly recommend it . So good !!!

unfortunately this product didn’t fare too well on simple road commute. The solid tires were a problem. The back shocks broke pretty quickly and eventually the back wheel flew off while i was riding. I received the scooter in Feb and it broke down in less than 2 months. The company offered to send me a replacement if I sent the broken one back. I bought a box and sent it back and the company created a shipping slip April 3, 2023 but as of April 25th nothing has shipped from the warehouse, so I bit the bullet and bought a different brand. Hopefully I will have better luck with the different scooter. The customer service rep at Vobet was very nice via email, however I don’t think the internal communication is very efficient. In short, I don’t recommend this product for daily commuting use. In fairness the solid airless tires just don’t fare well on city streets, so my new purchase has pneumatic tires.

I'm 6 feet at 205 pounds. I get up to good speed. It's nice to have the 3 levels. Once I got use to it, I ride on level 3. On level 1 you can use when your walking and you don't want to carry it. If I could have one change I would get one with the bigger tires. The suspension is ok. You do feel the harder ride and the bumps. I rode one of those Limes. It's a lot smoother with the larger tires. But just to use every once in a while, it's not bad. If I had to ride it everyday I wouldn't feel comfortable.

I purchased this item and received it on Dec 4th. I took it out of the box Thursday and rode it up the road in my housing development and within this short time the scooter no longer works. I just bought this for a Christmas present and now I have to be concerned on whether the company is going to refund me for this product, or if they are going to try and play me like I did something wrong. This is a shame the thing is brand new and I expected better.
