Purchased 4 of these February of 2023, thus far they worked well for 3 spring growing seasons. Turn on the lights Mon-Fri at 6:30am and turn them off at 8:30pm. Then on Saturday and Sunday turn them on at 8:30am and turn them off at 8:30pm. Easy enough to figure out how to program them and have a lot of functionality that I do not use.

Once I figured out how to set it ( which was very easy and easier than other ones, I love it. Gonna buy another for my nursery tent. It allows you to set timer for your lights or anything that you want on and off at specific times. Good value as well and way better than the push down models.

I got this to replace a 15 year old InterMatic timer that failed. The programing features of this is identical to the failed one. I love it because it is extremely versatile and you can program up to about 20 events. With flexibility comes complexity so this is not for someone that wants a simple on / off timer...although it will work that way just fine. If you have multiple demands such as different on/off periods for different days and / or differing on/off periods for the same day and different needs for different days, this is the timer for you. I have no problem programing it because the routine is identical to the InterMatic timers I have been using. It likely would be a bit of a challenge to a first time user.

Works very well and is easy to program. Both outlets are turned on/off together, unlike other models that control 2 outlets independently. There is only minute granularity for each program, which wasn’t suitable for my high flow irrigation system that only runs 2m30s. I received one of these that was faulty, the internal battery wouldn’t hold a charge. A minor inconvenience.

I bought this timer to control the on/off cycles for my drip system. My drippers only drip .5gal per hour and I set the timer to only be on 20min per day- no way it could even drip a half gallon per day if the the timer was working correctly. I come home one day to find my basement is flooded. The mode was set on auto off and I was completely confused as to what had gone wrong. I reset the timer and set the exact same on/off times and put it on auto off again. I watched the system go through an on/off cycle to see if it malfunctioned and it was fine so I assumed I fixed the issue. The timer was working and my drip system was operating how it was supposed until about a week or 2 later I find all the water has been dumped on my floor again- the timer malfunctioned again! I’m not sure what’s wrong with this product but it’s extremely inconsistent and will randomly just stay on instead of shutting off when it’s programmed to. I’m switching back to a mechanical timer- I can’t program it down to the minute but at least my floor won’t flood!

Vivosun digital LCD timer shipped REALLY FAST! Big display screen and easy buttons. My only complaint is that it is hard to understand the programability. On/auto on and auto off are hard to get an understanding of. There is also 20 program settings. Not sure if need to program 1 for a whole week or program 7 days. Haven’t used on my garden yet until customer service messaged me back on how to program After 2 days of guessing and checking timer works great. Would order again
