I really wanted a smart tower like this but I have timer controlled lights for my aquariums so I went with something like those. This is really easy to set up. I am currently using it to house all of the cords for my Christmas decorations in the yard. My cords are such that it won't let the door of the housing close however, I live in Florida and so far it works great. I run my sprinklers once a week and it rans every so often here now. The door not closing to the housing has not been a problem. No issues with the timer either. The tower stands up high enough that it is not on the ground too. There is surge protection so to speak built in to the tower which is nice. There seems to be plenty of cord to the tower but for me, it is not an issue. I have an outdoor outlet built into my yard that provides the power. I just plugged the tower into my outlet. ... show more

    • Defective dial
I bought this off season last year in preparation for this year’s holiday. I was excited to use it. Instructions are easy to follow. Accommodates 6 plugs. However, it is difficult to close when more plugs are used. Need more room for bigger plugs. Biggest frustration is the dial is defective. I have to keep setting it to the right time daily so that it turns on when I want it on. I bought it to relieve me of having to keep turning it on and off everyday, but due to its defective dial, I have to keep setting the actual time everyday. ... show more

This BN-Link Outdoor timer functions exactly as advertised, is extremely easy to set up and can be used for a multitude of purposes. I liked the first one that we'd ordered so much that I soon purchased another. There was a very minor issue with the second unit and, unlike many companies, the resolution process was immediate and most satisfactory. The Customer Support rep, Steven, shipped out a replacement unit at no cost and, better yet, didn't require me to return the damaged timer, saving me a trip to the post office.     • Pretty Good Except the Instructions
The Box is sturdy plastic and big enough for outside plugs. It has a nice positioned screw hole to allow us to install it on our porch post rather that in the ground. Easy access door covering the plugs and hopefully, so far, protecting it from the weather. Nice override feature that is clearly marked. Only complaint is that the instructions were not accurate. The timer pins need to be in the down position (not up) to begin setting the timer. Then push the timer pins UP for when you want the lights to go on. This product works great and is very reliable. However upon putting it in the ground and the box came right apart from the part that goes to the ground. Besides that The only real downside is with the newer plugs being so large you cannot always get the cover shut. However even with the cover partially open it still works. ... show more

I've had a lot of outdoor timers over the years but these are absolutely the best! Easy to use and great weather protection for the connections. I'm so glad my old ones were lost! You can't go wrong with these and very reasonable price! Highly recommend!

I love it and it works great. Very easy to use. The only problem is when you plug things in the front can't close so it's not waterproof. I just slipped a plastic bag over it. I still love it.

    • Great timer
Great timer, but….when using heavy duty outdoor extension cords, it’s kind of hard to close the timer’s door. I’d rather have the front flip up rather than to the side.
