Overall great product. I've been having some mobility issues that make it difficult for me to get up and decided to add Treatlife light switch dimmers, outlet dimmers for my lamps, light switch and ceiling fan combo switch throughout my house. So far, I love it! My friend was able to easily install all the light switches and dimmers, download the app, and do the complete set-up without any issues. I've had the Treatlife products for 6 months and haven't had any major issues with the app or switches (I have an iPhone). I love the features to set up routines (wake up, go to sleep, schedule, and away mode). I haven't tested it with my Google Nest, so I can't speak to that. Their customer service is great. I was a bit hesitant about ordering this, BUT to my surprise it has worked very well. I am using it to dim an LED amber 25watt equivalent blub. It does a great job at doing what it literally says it is supposed to do. I control this through the app on my phone, but I plan to try to attach it to my Alexa. It arrived on time, and again was up and working in about 20minutes (because I had an issue with it connecting to my WiFi, but it was user error :-) - I would be willing to try other products from this line. ... show more

When you get the box, it will look like hardly anything is there, but the instructions are there and they are short and to the point. Very easy to understand. I had this set up in no time. I used this dimmer because I'm trying to get my circadian rhythm on a schedule because I like to wake up early, but I have a hard time waking up when there isn't any light out. The lamp I have by my bedside is very bright and I was already using a regular dimmer anyways. I traded it for this dimmer so I could set my light to start fading in 30 minutes before I want to get up, and it works very well. I had hoped that with 2 plug receptacles on opposite sides of the housing that this would control 2 separate lights independently, however, this is not the case. Both are controlled in parallel (together). Because of this, the size of the box and its effect on a power strip, and the cost difference at present, my recommendation would be to just buy the indoor/outdoor plug. I bought these because I had a socket behind a bookcase for a lamp and a standard smart plug would have moved the bookcase too far from the wall. They certainly save space by having the sockets on the side of the plug. Installation was not hard, but following the instructions didn't work (Google knows).
