To set things straight you'll read aboit therr 24, 43, 56 timers setting thats incorrect you have 8. At first I thought it was broken. After setting the program it would not show that it was off. All ways on. Reset and reprogrammed several times. Got mad and walked away from it thinking it was defected. Forgot about it (still plugged it) and the next morning it was working just fine. I tested the timer by plugging in a simple house lamp and letting it run for twenty-four hours.
