  • Great budget Inline fan!
Size: D4 4 Inch
This works great and moves a decent amount of air! It works really well as an exchanger in a cycle timer, but also works on a variable fan controller if you want a constant but mellow exhaust speed. It’s much quieter than other inline fans I have tried, I used this one for a few months as a daily driver without issue. The cord is approximately 6’ long and works well with most tent setups. I have since upgraded to the app controlled fans and lights from vivosun. If you happen to have any issues.. Customer service is always great with this company as well! ... show more

  • Quiet and efficient
Size: D4 4 Inch
Coming from using all steel hydrofarm equipment using 4x the amount of energy, this is heaven sent! Quiet and efficient and works as intended for the time being. I've read of reviews where they crap out, but I've pivot used it for maybe a month now with no issues. However I have mine on a speed controller on the lowest setting fwiw ... show more

  • Good enough, but low suction pressure.
Size: D4 4 Inch
It's a decent enough fan for ventilation, but not well suited to evacuation. It's moderately quiet, and effective for very small spaces, but has very little power, if you want to use a filter with it, it needs to be low density and high surface area or you'll lose all your air flow.

  • Going on third year and blowing good
Size: D4 4 Inch
I got 2 of these in-line fans in early 2021 for booster for a shop vacuum extraction system I was building. I ended up putting in two separate systems, one for each room so I don't have to run hose for extraction so far. When I got a laser, I built a box around it and used one of these for venting the laser. It's been working GREAT for a laser vent for over a year. The other fan, I've been using for air movement between the two rooms(one room has heater and 2 A/Cs) of my shop since one room doesn't have heat/Cooling. Going great still after a few years. I'm about to buy a third one for another project. For the volume of air these move they are fairly quite. If you want a super quite fan, these are not it, but it not like listening to a cyclone either. I've very pleased with them. ... show more

  • Pulls out the large video card heat
Size: D4 4 Inch
The media could not be loaded. In making this next generation gaming computer, with an 8 gig Radeon video card among other things, the blowing or ambient heat from the computer is enough to heat a small room. I can & have used it in the winter to do that. Well, I was running something, & it was on over night. In the summer, I want to expel this heat so I can stand to be in there, gaming. Trying to get the right CFM to noise ratio can be difficult in a computer environment, in a small room. Mainly home based. This extractor from VivoSun is a great one. It's not quiet, & sometimes I can't wait to turn it off, but it pulls out the heat like I want it to, well, enough to keep the temps nice. Generally, the CPU's radiator will get up to about 107°F-113°F (42-45°C ) with this 195 CFM fan bringing it to (32°C-37°C) 89.6°F-98.6°F & it's pulling most of that heat out the window. I included a snap of some general video editing temps with out the VivoSun, & the bottom one is after it got going. The temps dropped in about a minute, which is super fast! When I "forget" to turn it on, & the computer gets up to about 45°C, it takes the exhaust about eight odd minutes to bring it down to 35°C & about a full 10 minutes to level off at 33°F. So that's not bad really. I have tried a small CFM unit (106 CFM), but the pull just wasn't there. I have included a video so you can hear how it sounds. Of course, it's muffled a bit, being I captured it from my phone, & recordings always sound different than your ear. If I can, I'll try to include a video of the room's cooling turbo fan so you can hear them both. Not bad, but not whisper quiet. They don't claim to be, either, so nothing on them. If I bring the tower down to the floor, or move it away, that will change things a whole bunch. If you're thinking about adding an external cooler to your gaming/video unit, I strongly suggest VivoSun. The product works great, & they are on top of any blips you may have. In fact, they helped me upgrade to this unit with a matter of an e-mail. That's AWESOMENESS to the 10th! Now I don't have to "worry" about leaving the computer on for a bit while I'm in the middle of a game, or when I step away for a moment. I know that this exhaust fan is going to keep the system cool. Bottom line, this exhaust fan works very well sealed to my tower's top fan port. So much that I will be adding a smaller one to my 3D printer to better help regulate the temps in that case. I did need to purchase dryer duct (hose), & a 4" inlet pipe. The aluminum tape & clamps came with the dryer ducting. I used some sticky sound dampening on the I/O exit panel to better direct the air flow being pulled up & out. Also, it has holes in the "feet" for more secure mounting. I just hot glued it. ... show more

  • After going thru 3 in 2 years I’m moving on to AC infinity s4
Size: D4 4 Inch
They’re cheap and work well for a few months. But without fail each one I’ve bought fails within 4-5 months depending on usage. The sound of the fan failing is unmistakable now that I’ve gone thru it 3 times. Out of nowhere it just starts rattling loudly like it’s got some to int caught in it hitting the blade or something. You can stabilize it or tap it and it stops but then it starts back up again. Nothing fixes it. And apparently it completely falls apart and fails completely but I’ve never waited that long - I need a quiet fan and I can’t handle the rattling for more than a day so I always quickly rebuy the same cheap fan. This was the last time though. Luckily this happened right around Black Friday/Cyber Weekend so I’m getting a new AC infinity at a discount. I already have 2 other AC infinity fans and they’ve lasted much much longer with no problems. So I’m here to tell you, it’s just better economically to get the higher quality fan in the first place and skip this cheap one. It’s not made for long term use. ... show more

This little powerhouse sucks and blows with the best of 'em! It's pretty quiet too! And guess what? It's still chugging along like a champ! If you want your ventilation done right, look no further. • Stopped working after about 2 weeks
Size: D4 4 Inch
It works, but the humidity in my martha tent went down to 65 from between 85-90.. The humidity would just swirl around the bottom, and not be sucked up to the top like it should... I trouble-shooted, and it's the fan. I changed the filter, didn't make any difference. I put a small clip-on desk fan, and turned this fan off, and the humidity is good again... But now I have to buy antother fan, bc my mushrooms need fresh air exhange. I'm disappointed. It was a cheapo fan, and i guess you get what you pay for. I do not recommend, I feel dumb bc I threw away the box, so i guess I cannot return it. Lesson learned. Don't throw boxes away!! ... show more
