So I purchased an Eddie Bauer set of flannel sheets and these. These are 100% comparable in quality to the more exspensive, name brand sheets. So im honestly just going to copy that review into this one, thats how similar and good in quality these are. So full disclosure amazon AI, yes its a duplicate review. These sheets are thick, heavy, and beautifully well-made. The fabric feels solid and substantial — in warm weather, the sheet alone could honestly double as a blanket. Any complaints I have come down purely to personal preference, not quality. This is a sound, well-constructed product that’s absolutely worth the money. That said… let’s talk real life. These sheets are very warm and extremely cuddly — too warm for anything above about 40° in my opinion. They are also… grabby. Like, commitment-level grabby. Depending on what pajamas you’re wearing, you may find yourself fighting for your life trying to roll over. These sheets want to cocoon you like a mummy. Sweatpants and flannel pajamas? Hard no. I’ve had the best luck with yoga pants, smooth cotton-nylon blends, or shorts. Because of that same grabby texture, they can also be rough on delicate hair. If your hair breaks easily, I wouldn’t recommend the flannel pillowcases without some protection. (A silk bonnet would be a very wise companion.) Overall, I really do love these sheets — but in central Texas, they may not be worth the price simply because our winters are short and mild. However, if you live somewhere with a real winter (temps below 35° that last longer than a week), these are absolutely worth it. The fabric is really thick and durable. So it doesn’t seem very soft for flannel sheets. Don’t be deceived. I bought some very soft flannel sheets at a regional department store and the lint filter is stuffed every time I wash and dry them. These sheets have a high quality of fabric so you don’t lose a lot to the lint filter and I know they will soften over time. It isn’t hard on my skin, and I sleep comfortably. I like the green color. I wish there were more patterns, but I am happy with this one. I have a queen sized bed but I always buy a size larger so I don’t have to struggle with making the bed. I never have a problem with the sheets coming off a corner or anything. These fit the way I like without it being too big. Since I expect I’ll have these for years, I believe the quality is worth the price. ... show more

Love these sheets! I'll say when I unpacked them i was skeptical at first because they did not feel as soft as my old ones did. So I threw them in the wash and after they were so soft! Like other reviewers, I think the underside is actually softer than the top side. I have a giant 4" topper on my king size bed so I was worried they wouldn't fit the corners, but they fit perfectly. No slipping. The pillow cases are a smidge larger than needed but that's not a big deal. The only other thing I can say negative would be that the flat sheet would not be able to be turned down at the top more than the hem because you'd either have the white side show or your pattern would be upside down. This isn't a big deal to be cuz I have mine covered up cuz my dogs sleep on my bed. But they are true to the color shown and I got the blue dogs mountain ones. They are a great value for the money, seem like great quality, they are not wrinkly, the elastic stretched over the edges just fine. Id buy again. Love the pattern and love how soft and snuggly they are!! ... show more

These sheets are so soft and warm, yet breathable. I tend to get hot flashes at night but these are great because they are 100% cotton and don't trap the heat, just keep you warm (if that makes sense). I washed these before first use (just used my regular Gain detergent and dried on low) and they fit well on my bed, they didnt shed too much in dryer. The Christmas print is very cute and perfect for the wintertime (looks great with my Christmas themed blanket I put over my regular quilt for the holidays). I am very picky about my bed sheets in general (only like 100% cotton Percale because I love the breathability and the cool, crisp feel) but want a warmer option during the cold months (my bedroom stays colder than the rest of the house during the winter due to the layout of my house and where my bedroom is (corner/2 outside walls, 2 windows, etc). I got these on sale for under $30 but would definitely pay more for these. ... show more

We replaced an Eddie Bauer flannel sheet set with these because we had them shrink up a little too much with the occasional careless washing and drying when in a rush. It’s the only other flannel sheet set I’ve had in recent memory so I can only compare these to the EB set. The set was packaged nicely in the usual zipped clear plastic square bag you normally see these sets in. Taking them out of the packaging and my first impression was they looked nice, just like the pictures, but were quite stiff. I didn’t notice any odd odors. We washed and dried them on delicate using wool dryer balls on the drying. Two things were noticeably different from our EB flannel set after laundering. These sheets dried much, much faster (seriously like nearly half the time which seems weird) than the EB ones and also shed dramatically less fluff. Like a lot less. I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing, but usually in the middle of drying these types of sheets I open the dryer once to remove the big ball of fluff and then once they’re done there’s a bunch more. These sheets however had about as much fluff, or even less, as a normal drying session of clothes. Again, I’m not sure if the shorter dry time and less fluff is a good or bad thing, or means these are lower quality or not. We put the sheets and pillow cases on without difficulty or issue with the product. These are advertised as deep pocket and we found this to be true. I’d say they’re good for up to 18” or so. I wished the flat sheet had more width but it was no smaller than the EB ones. I will say that these sheets and cases are not as soft as the EB ones even when they were new. I’m hoping they get better in that regard following further washes. These sheets have a thicker almost firmer feel than the EB ones. They’re not uncomfortable but I can’t lie and say they feel as cozy soft as the EB’s do. We haven’t slept in them yet but I’m hoping they’re not too heavy as the EB ones were good year round even here in Florida. Time will tell if I’d buy these again but I’m glad they fit the mattress well. My gut tells me these will be a warmer sleep so they might do better in strictly winter or colder climates. YMMV on that. ... show more
