I like this fan because it oscillates and there are several speed modes to choose from. It's pretty quiet inside the grow tent. I'm not bothered by the noise when I'm inside the grow tent, but I don't know if it's too noisy for the plants that are inside the grow tent. Maybe it's too noisy for them, maybe it's not. I'm sure the plants don't mind because the fan circulates the air inside the tent for them. Pair this with a ventilator and you'll have a nice grow tent environment during the winter season and you'll still be able to grow your plants indoors. I plug the fan into a WiFi enabled plug such as a Kasa smart plug and I can create a schedule when this fan turns ON/OFF. The clip is strong and I can clamp it high or low. You can also tilt the fan up and down. So far, this fan has done the job of keeping the air inside our grow tent circulating. I'm a huge fan of this fan. ... show more

This fan is perfect for my 2 x 4 grow tent. 5 speeds plus a "breeze" mode. Whoever designed this fan really thought it out before it was put into production. It has a thin cage, which makes it easy to fit into tight spots. The 90° oscillation is perfect for hanging it in the corner of the tent. It also has a very easy method for removing the front cage so you can clean the fan. You just remove 1 screw and then you can clean the cage and blades. Plastic is sturdy, blades are thick so they won't Crack easily. It is slightly more expensive than some other similar fans, but totally worth the extra $5-$10. Get it. It's perfect. ... show more

    • Great fans, but missing important wiring

These do a great job of keeping air moving in my indoor veggie garden. However, they don't include the USB-C splitter needed to connect both to the Vivosun controller. You can plug in one, but the other is left running in manual mode (preset fan and rotation speed). The splitter I had on hand did not work, and the company recommends only using their proprietary splitter (read: expensive). I love Vivosun products and have very many, but this felt like a bit of a cash grab. ... show more

Love the design. Way better thought out than acinfinity clip fans. I only bought this fan because of a review claiming they're compatible with controller 69. They will not operate at all when connected to the 69 pro wifi. If you have the 69 Bluetooth version they will work where 6 is max for the fan but you do not have the wind mode it seems. I was really hoping they would work on any aci controller ... show more

The positives are that these are very quiet and they arrive very clean. The box is nice and the square clamp looks like it would be secure (but I didn't try it so I don't really know). The negs are that these are very cheap feeling. They move very little air. This fan only needs a low setting for seedlings and a high for everything else. They don't move much air. I personally can't imagine using a controller with these. Very gimmicky. I opted to return them. These are the best clip fans I've ever tried but still they are clip fans and all I have used have been poor quality including these. ... show more
