I was able to set up everything in 15 minutes. Fan runs quieter than I expected. I chose to mount my fan inside with the filter outside my 2.3’x2.3’ grow tent. Had enough ducting to be able to set the filter on the floor. Added an iPower fan speed controller to finish everything off. Only have been running it for a month so can’t say about its longevity. So far so good but that could change anytime. At half the price, sometimes less, of other 4” kits the was a total win for me….for now. I worry about how long the fan will last as there had to be some kind of catch at getting the kit under $70. None found so far. ... show more

Haven't had any issues.. Not absolutely quiet, but its relatively quiet for tent equipment.. Pretty cheaply made so i wouldn't be suppressed if it only lasts a couple grows.. The thing is 95% plastic. But hey you get what you pay for!

The fan is weak and loud. The filter didn’t stop anything once smells started in the tent. I only used it for a month before noticeable smells were escaping.
