The media could not be loaded. I had a positive initial impression, but the lack of a battery backup was a deal-breaker for me. The fan was packed amazingly and easy to assemble. The solar panel worked well, pushing out immaculate air when it received sunlight. However, even just a tiny bit of shade triggered the fan to shut off completely. Unfortunately, I realized that the fan didn’t have a battery backup. Since my chicken coop area experiences shade throughout the day, the fan couldn’t run continuously, which led to my decision to return it. Despite the positive aspects, the lack of a battery backup made it unsuitable for our specific needs. I’m now planning to purchase one with a battery backup.

Fan won't work at all in the shade, but when the sun is out it circulates the air pretty well. Don't expect enough air to keep you cool on a hot day. Think of it more like a desktop computer fan. It's enough to circulate the air, but that's about it. I mounted the solar panel on in top of my shed. The mounting bracket is functional but will likely bend during the next tornado warning storm. If the area you live in has mild weather it might hold up. Many similar fans don't include a mounting bracket, so it's hard to complain. It's nice to have a switch that allows you to turn it on and off, because you don't want it blowing in cold outside air during the winter. Don't expect much, it's more like a small attic fan, it's not going to move a ton of air. But it does work ok. I just wanted something for my shed that circulated the hot humid air during the summer. It's better than nothing. *EDIT* I've had this unit up and running for a few months in a very hot and humid shed and it seems to keep the shed a good dealer cooler than it was before having the fan. I leave it in the ON position all the time, so when the sun is out, it's blowing air inside the shed.

I purchased this product in November 2024 but didn't get it installed until a couple of months ago. It worked fine for about a month and then stopped working. I live in California and we have plenty of sun to charge it so its not lack of sun to the solar panel. I had bought two units and tested this one on the second solar panel and it still did not work. The unit itself evidently failed.

I use this on my small 15x10x7 greenhouse it WORKS GREAT to help with the airflow, and the solar panel is a Nice feature to have.It kicks on when the sun hits it and runs until the sun goes down. Cloudy days do affect it turning on,but even with the little sun it absorbs the fans will run slow.

I installed these fans in the base of a home-made food dehydrator I built. They work great! Best not to mount them static, so they can be adjusted. You can hear the difference in how well they are running as you move the panel to better catch the full effects of the sun. Excellent prodyct. Quality is great. I like them very much.

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the Solar Powered Fan for my chicken coop, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance! The installation was straightforward—no wiring or electricity needed—just mount the solar panel in a sunny spot, attach the fans, and they start working immediately. The 15W solar panel provides plenty of power, even on partly cloudy days, and the two high-speed brushless fans move a surprising amount of air. My chickens are much more comfortable now, and the coop stays well-ventilated, reducing moisture and odors. I’ve also noticed fewer flies, which is a huge bonus! I was impressed by the durable construction—the fans are sturdy, and the solar panel is weather-resistant. It’s been running nonstop for weeks without any issues.
