The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the Solar Powered Fan for my chicken coop, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance! The installation was straightforward—no wiring or electricity needed—just mount the solar panel in a sunny spot, attach the fans, and they start working immediately. The 15W solar panel provides plenty of power, even on partly cloudy days, and the two high-speed brushless fans move a surprising amount of air. Fan won't work at all in the shade, but when the sun is out it circulates the air pretty well. Don't expect enough air to keep you cool on a hot day. Think of it more like a desktop computer fan. It's enough to circulate the air, but that's about it. I mounted the solar panel on in top of my shed. The mounting bracket is functional but will likely bend during the next tornado warning storm. If the area you live in has mild weather it might hold up. Many similar fans don't include a mounting bracket, so it's hard to complain. It's nice to have a switch that allows you to turn it on and off, because you don't want it blowing in cold outside air during the winter. Don't expect much, it's more like a small attic fan, it's not going to move a ton of air. But it does work ok. I just wanted something for my shed that circulated the hot humid air during the summer. It's better than nothing. *EDIT* I've had this unit up and running for a few months in a very hot and humid shed and it seems to keep the shed a good dealer cooler than it was before having the fan. I leave it in the ON position all the time, so when the sun is out, it's blowing air inside the shed.

This is a solar power fan unit but be warned, the fan wind output is extremely low. Picture your handheld fan you had at the disney park to try and keep you cool. Now picture it on the low setting. Thats about how much wind these 4 fans put out in a full sun cloud-less day. Would not recommend

The media could not be loaded. I had a positive initial impression, but the lack of a battery backup was a deal-breaker for me. The fan was packed amazingly and easy to assemble. The solar panel worked well, pushing out immaculate air when it received sunlight. However, even just a tiny bit of shade triggered the fan to shut off completely. Unfortunately, I realized that the fan didn’t have a battery backup. Since my chicken coop area experiences shade throughout the day, the fan couldn’t run continuously, which led to my decision to return it. Despite the positive aspects, the lack of a battery backup made it unsuitable for our specific needs. I’m now planning to purchase one with a battery backup.

Ordered in February, so box sat for a month until March when I could install unit in greenhouse. Ran for 3 days before completely failing. Appears to be one of products components, not the solar panel or connection. Would not run when cord plugged into a power source via usb cable. The paperwork states they provide after sale service and to contact customer service, yet box and manual provide no phone number or website. Update: The buyer store has contacted me and promised a full refund.

Well, it's cheap, so to my mind I go in thinking if this works for 3 years, I won. We use it to vent our attic in the extremely hot months (think lower Georgia, near the coast, often highs of 98 or more). Works well, but this house is small, and the roof is not that steep, plus some shade. I'd say if Im lucky it averages moving maybe 1/2 the attic air out an hour, but it's enough to keep it more like 110 instead of 128 up there, on a 96 degree day. My bills dropped about 30 percent from summer 23 to last summer, but I made other changes at that time, including added a window inverter unit. Still, you can tell just from standing in a chair and feeling the ceiling and holding your hand up there in late afternoon, it's a good bit better. Especially the pull-down door area. Actually nice it works best when sun is out, which is usually when it's the hottest, and saves wear on itself as the sun sets so it might last longer, Starting season 2. Used it maybe 5 months, a tad more, last season.

Solar panel n battery too weak to start all fans. I use it in my shed. I have to spin 2 of the fans manually every time to get them going, even in 100 degree weather.
