I was a bit hesitant to order this lift after reading all of the reviews. It seems some people purchased this item and it arrived with missing parts, a leaking cylinder, or a descent speed that was unmanageable. I can tell you that the one I purchased came with all it's parts, was very easy to assemble, extremely sturdy, and the descent speed was perfect. I have a huge Honda 1800 VTX that weights over 700 lbs. This lift did exactly what was expected. I am extremely pleased with this product. I suspect that there will always be exceptions, but this was not one of them. The price was very affordable to say the least, and I highly recommend this product.

My motorcycle weighs about 850lbs. it's currently sitting on this so I can do an oil change. some considerations I have if you are thinking about buying this. at least for my 2010 kawasaki vulcan 1700 the balance point where this jack is best suited puts the oil plug right between the supports and the supports are JUST barely wide enough to hit both sides of my frame. So I can still do the oil change but I had to cut a pvc pipe down the center to make a trough to flow the oil over to my catch pan. You absolutely should use the included ratchet straps for safety, however they are a pain to use because in order to be truly safe while jacking up a bike that heavy you have to put the straps on loosely and then pump it a few times until they are starting to get tight, then give them a little more slack. rinse and repeat until you have the bike at the desired height. I think I would rather this have adjustable width supports with attachment points for the straps at the end. that way you can tighten the bike directly to the platform that moves and it will make lifting and lowering safer because the straps will be properly tight the whole time. the last thing I would say about this thing is that the safety lock kinda sucks, I get how it's supposed to work, but it seems like mine was a little bit warped because I can lock in one side but not the other. it also seems as though it doesn't have enough settings with only 3. I would like to see a ratcheting mechanism that automatically locks as you pump, as it is I don't think I trust this safety lockout to stop a bike from falling, mostly because I can't really get both sides to lock down, but also because it just seems a little sketchy to do it that way. I would still recommend this jack as it does seem to be very capable. But I caution that the safety feature seems a little bit underwhelming. I won't be getting under this bike at any point that's for sure.

Works perfectly! Really solid unit, very heavy-duty. And it lifted my 500+-lb. Triumph Bonneville with ease. Home run all the way!! Highly recommended. Now I don't have to roll the bike back and forth to clean the chain. (What a pain!) And I don't have to risk the bike falling over by checking the fluids while trying to get the bike straight up and down by placing spacers under my kickstand. This is an excellent value - very happy with it.

I will say it is able to lift the bike into the air. That said I don’t think I will use this to raise both wheels at one time, doesn’t feel stable to me. The lift handle doesn’t feel sturdy at all but hasn’t broken. Ive seen some people are able to lift road kings fully off the ground and it be stable but I won’t be trying that.

Heavy-duty and works like a charm. It's a shame I have to carry this thing from the basement to use it because it is heavy. But that is what you want, right? Had my bike up, no problem, after finding the right spot to jack it from. Ease of use, and fortunately had help finding that spot as I kept her steady and straight up. Worked as if it was made for it.
