So far it's working great! I ordered this one to replace one handheld and one robotic that both quit after one season. I was so tickled to get this one and ended up being late to an appointment because I was having so much fun using this one! The suction has been great and the run time has been a lot longer than expected. Also, it came with 4 filters which has proven quite handy. The filters seem to fill up pretty quick so it's very helpful to have another one to use while you press a grandchild into service to clean out the first one! However, I have been having a terrible time with algae this year, and while it gets most of it, it does allow some really fine particles to escape into the water. Here's hoping this lasts more than one season.

It is GREAT! So much easier to use than the one hooked to our pool pump with the large hose. It cleans all sizes of debris that lands in your pool with ease. The extension pole isn’t as long we need to use completely from the deck (doesn’t reach middle of the pool), but this is a great machine. Told our neighbor and they just bought one too.

Very small. No power. Tiny debris gets through the sand filter(one filter for sand and such and one for larger debris). I do not recommend for pools that are very active like mine. We use it every single day. For smaller 10 or 12 foot pools it may be great.

This is a very good pool vacuum. I had issues with algae growing at the bottom of the the summer waves above ground pool. Other vacuums just shot the algae right back into the water, and didn't solve my issue. This vacuum however, held the algae and dirt in the ultra fine netting very well. I vacuum until I see the light turn red, then I take it out an rinse off the filter inside. I would say I have to do this 5-6 times while I'm cleaning out the pool. However, it does a good job at picking up the small particles in the pool and keeping the water relatively clear (some smaller particles tend to come out again).

Extremely happy with how this vacuum worked! I purchased it so we didn’t have to use the filter or waste pool water while vacuuming. The pool had a lot black on the bottom (see pics before and after) which the turtle vac was not picking up. We used the fine particle bag first and it worked great. It did take several times to empty and clean out the bag. We used the regular mesh on larger pieces and it still picked up sand/dirt. Suction was stronger with regular mesh bag. I only used the handle and from in the pool so I can’t say how it will be with the telescope pole or from outside the pool. Battery last about an hour, a charge takes around an hour and a half. Still very pleased with how it performed and was easy to assemble. Like that it comes with 4 bags too. I would highly recommend this vacuum.

Does the job very well. The only thing is it’s hard to get into corners but other than that it sucks up the debris very well. It doesn’t go that deep so I have to use my pool pole in order to get the deep end of our pool which is 9’ deep.

This pool vacuum does a great job...while it is running. It's far easier than messing with hoses and stuff to clean the bottom of the pool...while it is running. The first one delivered ran for 4 minutes before the red light started to blink. Then I would get another minute or two before the vacuum would shut down. I would turn it off and wait a minute. Then I would turn it on and get another minute of running time. I would keep doing this over and over until the pool was clean. I did this 3 different times hoping to have different results. Because I liked the results...while it ran, I contacted the manufacturer. They quickly sent a new unit. I plugged the vacuum in overnight. This morning, I was ready to quickly clean the pool. At 4 minutes, the dreaded red light started to blink. Less then a minute later, it shut down again. I did the off and on thing again to finish cleaning the bottom. The vacuum does a great job...while it runs. Also, it has a fine mesh filter for sand and small debris that I didn't see with the competition. That's why I gave it 2 stars. It's a great idea, but the batteries need more work.
