Very pleased with this vacuum!
This is a great vacuum! It’s my second one. The first one was a different brand and only lasted four months. I’ve had this one eight months and it’s still working great! It does a great job with fine sand. Side note. I didn’t realize how well it did with sand until I waited for the bag to dry before emptying it. I could clearly see how much sand it picked up! ... show more

I do not recommend this product.
I do not recommend this product. I only used it about 4–5 times last year before storing it away for the season. When I opened my pool this year and tried to use it again, it would not work at all. I expected it to last much longer, especially considering how little use it actually got. For a product that was only used a handful of times, it’s very disappointing that it failed after just one season. Based on my experience, this seems more like a one-time-use product than a durable investment. I feel like I wasted my money and would not purchase this product again. ... show more

Extremely happy with how this vacuum worked! I purchased it so we didn’t have to use the filter or waste pool water while vacuuming. The pool had a lot black on the bottom (see pics before and after) which the turtle vac was not picking up. We used the fine particle bag first and it worked great. It did take several times to empty and clean out the bag. We used the regular mesh on larger pieces and it still picked up sand/dirt. Suction was stronger with regular mesh bag. I only used the handle and from in the pool so I can’t say how it will be with the telescope pole or from outside the pool. Battery last about an hour, a charge takes around an hour and a half. Still very pleased with how it performed and was easy to assemble. Like that it comes with 4 bags too. I would highly recommend this vacuum. ... show more

I love it! I love it!

Let me preface this by telling you a few things. The first thing is that I live in Florida therefore my whole back yard has sugar sand. No matter how hard we try, the kids manage to drag it into the pool. This is the third vacuum that I've bought, the first 2 picked up everything but the sand. The sand was fairly thick all around the bottom edge of the pool. When I started using this vacuum, I was disheartened because it didn't seem to be picking anything up, just stirring it up into the water. I stopped to think for a minute and realized how big the head was on this thing and thought that maybe it just wasn't reaching the edges. I decided to do a whirlpool to get everything in the middle. Once everything was in the middle, this vacuum picked up every last bit of sand!! I am thrilled! I'm ok with putting a little more effort in to save myself some money. For this price point, this is the best that you're going to get but it actually works like it says, just don't expect it to be able to reach the edges. ... show more

Great little machine for fiberglass pool
Great little machine! I have a 10k gallon fiberglass pool and I’ve struggled with buying a robot due to the cost when it’s so easy to clean. The only problem I had was super fine algae/sand/debris settling at the bottom and not being able to use the skimmer net to get it out, and getting out the hose for the skimmer is such a pain. Problem solved!! This little thing does a great job! I have only used the wider mesh (300 not 500 size) and it’s small so you have to empty it frequently if it’s sort of dirty (I had just opened mine), but man! My water is crystal clear and it got 99% of the fine particles that I could not get out with any of the other methods. It even will pick up small pebbles or pieces of concrete as well, but you do have to hold it on those larger pieces for a second. This is definitely worth the purchase price and solves the problem of purchasing a super expensive robot at least for now. ... show more

I want to love it
This pool vacuum does a great job...while it is running. It's far easier than messing with hoses and stuff to clean the bottom of the pool...while it is running. The first one delivered ran for 4 minutes before the red light started to blink. Then I would get another minute or two before the vacuum would shut down. I would turn it off and wait a minute. Then I would turn it on and get another minute of running time. I would keep doing this over and over until the pool was clean. I did this 3 different times hoping to have different results. Because I liked the results...while it ran, I contacted the manufacturer. They quickly sent a new unit. I plugged the vacuum in overnight. This morning, I was ready to quickly clean the pool. At 4 minutes, the dreaded red light started to blink. Less then a minute later, it shut down again. I did the off and on thing again to finish cleaning the bottom. The vacuum does a great job...while it runs. Also, it has a fine mesh filter for sand and small debris that I didn't see with the competition. That's why I gave it 2 stars. It's a great idea, but the batteries need more work. ... show more

So far so good
So far it's working great! I ordered this one to replace one handheld and one robotic that both quit after one season. I was so tickled to get this one and ended up being late to an appointment because I was having so much fun using this one! The suction has been great and the run time has been a lot longer than expected. Also, it came with 4 filters which has proven quite handy. The filters seem to fill up pretty quick so it's very helpful to have another one to use while you press a grandchild into service to clean out the first one! However, I have been having a terrible time with algae this year, and while it gets most of it, it does allow some really fine particles to escape into the water. Here's hoping this lasts more than one season. ... show more

Works pretty good.
Works okay. Not light your regular pool vacuum so don’t expect that. I use this for my hot tub and my pool stairs and it does the job. Wish it had more suction power because I live in the desert and often need to vacuum sand up that has blown in the pool. If you are using it for leaves an small debris in it should work great. This does work great for my hot tub. ... show more
