I see what some of the other reviews are saying about the paint or whatever coming off. Before I used them in food, I ran them through the dishwasher a few times. The tools are not sparkly chrome and down to their bare metal appearance. Doesn’t bother me in the slightest. I have not seen “metal chips” in my food or anything. In fact the first time I actually used it in dough I was staring it down pretty hard to to see if that was happening. This is not as high quality as a kitchen aid unit, so to compare it to a kitchen aid unit is unfair in my opinion. The pros: it works well, it’s not expensive, and it’s very easy to use and clean. I have used this for a variety of doughs, batters, creams, fillings, and it has not failed yet. I’ve been using it at least 3 times a week since purchase about 4 months ago. The cons- the plating on the attachments coming off is kind of a bummer. But, based on reviews of previous people who purchased this, I already expected that and ran the attachments through the washer with a few loads of dishes till I saw that the finish had come of. It’s also cheap in look and feel, a bit noisy, bulky looking, clunky, no ability to add attachments like the higher end kitchen aid units do, and the plastic round shield to keep product from escaping the bowl is kinda useless in my opinion. But, at the end of the day for what the cost is, being able to walk away from it for a moment without having to use a hand mixer, and without the cost of the higher end units, I’m happy. I’m not going to pretend like I was expecting this high quality kitchen appliance that was going to perform like a professional kitchen appliance. I’m sorry, but for just over 100 dollars, I’m not going to be rough on giving this nifty appliance a trash review.

So I replaced a cuisinart stand mixer that I had for several years with this VEVO unit. It fits nicely on the countertop which is a plus. I like the tilt head, and I really like the dough hook. The plastic cover, I rarely use, because it doesn’t have an easy pour spout as one would wish. So things usually just get spilled on the cover, because the opening is so small. I make a lot of breads, so the different mixing settings are very important, and it definitely has those. Probably my main concern with this unit is the longevity. Within a few months, it began to click as flour was added in the bowl, like it’s gears are starting to wear out already. I usually make 3 loaves of bread at a time, the bowl is more than suited for that purpose, but I am not sure the motor and gears are. There is sometimes an oil leak at the top of the rotating piece, and because of that, I have had to throw away 2 full batches of dough, which is just a lot of waste. I am sure that the oil would not be good in the bread! But it doesn’t do it every time, so not sure what causes that. The other concern is the attachments. I thought they were stainless steel, but they are actually coated with something. Mine is starting to wear through on the dough hook, so likely it is going to have to be tossed soon. They are nice machines, nice to look at, a good price point, but I just don’t think it is a long term piece of kitchen equipment for me.

Packaging was done well; everything was very tightly fit and protected. My first impression was "wow, this is much bigger than I thought it'd be." The design is elegant and worth the space on your counter. The base is heavyweight, but the mixing bowl and accessories are surprisingly light. It came with wire whisk, dough hook, mixing beater, and a clear plastic guard for the bowl with hole in the middle and one side (so that you can add ingredients while it's mixing, and keep your surface clean from splashing). It is very easy to install the accessories, which is nice. My only concern is how light they are, making me wonder what material they were made from. I noted there are a few scratches on the dough hook and beater; and the wire whisk has a black plastic part instead of all metal. Overall, it's a buy for me. It's been over 100 years since the stand mixer was ever invented. I personally find it difficult to understand why Kitchen Aid units are still so expensive, with the help of advanced technology and all that. I'm getting another one of these for my mom.

Was looking for a machine to make butter every few weeks. This had the right price considering my planned occasional use. When it arrived, I was pleased. The machine looks pretty good. It seems to have a strong motor, and I was able to churn a triple batch of butter no problem. The bowl is the biggest I could find anywhere, and the splash guard worked very well. The attachments have a cheap appearance, but they have held up without issue, and there is no coating or chrome on it to flake off as indicated in some other reviews. I am happy with it at this point. EDIT: I have owned and used this thing for a while now, and it is still working very well. No issues with the machine or the attachments. No regrets.

Purchased the mixer in December 2021. We didn't have many occasions to use it, so we did weeks later. Worked like a charm. Weeks after that, we tried to use it again but to this day it never worked again.
