I'm impressed with how well this mascara separated and defined my lashes without getting clumpy! I had zero flaking, and no smudging either! Really impressed with how well it held up. The end of the wand has a spikey ball attached, which I liked for getting my lashes by my inner corner. When I washed it off, it came off similar to a tubing mascara which was fantastic.

TLDR: This product says: weightless, buildable, volumizes, lengthens, curls. (yes, not easily, no, no, no) I'm an an avid mascara trialIer. My lashes are longer and thicker, but not super dense. Ideally I'd like them to lift and fan. I look at product in comparison to any claims on: length, separation, definition, curl, volume, smudge, flake, special (tubing, waterproof, serum, etc), and *removal.* I was disappointed that this product, with a super luxe packaging (feels heavy, looks sleek, snaps closed) and really great wand (stiff, combs through lashes, and has a very spiky tip for detailing) was just not a good mascara for my lashes. This mascara was really wet and took forever to dry down, and made my lashes clump together, rather than separate. I also found no volume to the individual lash, just an appearance of thickness by lumping the lashes together wetsly. So the tips of my eyelashes got lost, when I'd prefer them to stand and curl. I often do have trouble with serum mascaras essentially being wet and looking wet. This was no different. If I was to accept this, I'd get rid of this style of wand, because you can REALLY poke your eye with it. Then, the result through the day was SUPER flaky. Yuck. Removing was messy - tried in the shower with remover, then had to use makeup remover after shower was over. Racoon-y for awhile. It technically works as a mascara, but it's disappointing as one, especially for that price.

A mascara that actually conditions lashes and helps them grow? I LOVE this concept! Is that even possible?!! I was really anxious to try Live Tinted Legacy Lash Mascara. I knew there was a possibility I might not be able to use this product. Though this used to not be an issue, I have developed a sensitivity to many eye cosmetics. Mascaras and eyeliners cause irritation and blurry vision that can last for at least two days after I’ve used them. The formula for this mascara/serum looked significantly different though, more natural. I was hoping that would make a difference. The mascara went on smoothly without any lumps. It did a nice job of enhancing my lashes. I wore it all day and never experienced any eye watering, blurry vision, burning or itching. It was a warm, humid day, and I spent time outside, but I didn’t get transfer to my upper lids or raccoon circles below my eyes. There was a tiny bit of flaking, but it was very minimal. The mascara held up exceptionally well. I wanted to see how easy the product was to remove, so I decided to wash my face first with just a face cleanser before pulling out makeup remover or wipes. The additional cleansers weren’t necessary. It removed easily without creating smears around my eyes. I’m exceptionally impressed with the performance of this product just as a mascara. I haven’t been able to comfortably wear mascara for years. If wearing it will also improve the condition of my lashes and promote growth, then this is a true gem. I’m very happy with this mascara/serum and intend to share my discovery with friends and family. ****About me: Integrity is very important to me. Reviews I've posted will be from items I've had direct contact with. These are my honest opinions. I will not post a review for a product I have not had personal contact with.

Terrible mascara!! What happened to mascara?!! I never had the problem of Raccoon eyes in the past and now I’ve tried several brands that leave me with black under my eyes, crumbles, etc etc!! So stink’n FRUSTRATING!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by this mascara. I feel like mascara is so hit or miss and it's so hard to tell what is going to give me the look I want. I have long lashes but they don't have a lot of volume and my outer lashes have a super tight curl so it's often difficult to use mascara on them without it getting everywhere. This mascara has a really nice wand and it doesn't pick up a ton of mascara so it doesn't get clumpy on your lashes when you're applying it. I have allergies and my eyes water a lot + I have to use eye drops a lot throughout the day, so I usually like to use waterproof mascara if possible. However, I've worn this many days and I haven't noticed it running at all, which is great! It's easy to wash off at the end of the day though, which is another plus. It supposedly has lash serum in it to help your lashes grow, but I haven't worn it enough to notice a difference (plus I use lash serum at night, so it would be difficult to tell whether any growth was from this mascara or that). This mascara is more expensive than the mascara I would normally use, but I do think it's worth it - the formula is really nice, the brush is great, and it wears really really nicely.

I’ve never been able to justify spending more than $10 on a mascara. I’ve tried my fair share of prestige brands as well as drugstore, and I’ve never found a prestige brand that preformed significantly better than the drugstore. This mascara changed that for me! The design of the brush is perfect, it captures and coats every lash for maximum definition. The formula really does lengthen and curl my lashes; I’ve never tried another mascara that actually curls. In my picture, I’ve applied one coat of mascara to my eye, you can see the length and curl compared to my lashes without mascara.
