I originally bought the red/black version of this chair for my boyfriend last Christmas (this is his account). It was pretty comfortable, especially for the price, so I recently decided to buy a purple/black one for myself. I double checked all the size/dimension details before buying, and the only difference was the color. After assembling, I noticed major differences in quality and size. First, the wheels drag a lot, even without weight on the chair. Think: the worst shopping cart that constantly drags to one side. Any time I try to scooch the chair, a wheel catches and I almost fall off. Using WD40 did not help, as the wheels seem to be mostly plastic construction (different than the original black/red chair, which had quality metal bearings). Secondly, the chair is a completely different size than the first one I got. As you can see in my photos, it’s a good few inches shorter. This means the neck cushion hits in my upper back and forces me to slouch forward, instead of being a headrest. The seat part of the chair is also smaller, so I’m perpetually sitting towards the edge of the seat. The cushioning in general is also significantly lower quality, and I can’t comfortably sit in it for any length of time without a pillow underneath. I wanted to simply return the item, so I contacted their customer support. I was informed that if I wanted to return this crappy chair, I would have to cover the full cost of shipping ($40+) and also send it back repackaged exactly how it arrived, completely disassembled. At this point, I clearly haven’t held onto all of the plastic/cardboard packaging (there is a lot of it), and this thing was a beast to assemble. My only hope is selling it on Facebook marketplace. Do yourself a favor and don’t consider this chair. Spend $50 more on a quality gamer chair, or buy a basic office chair that looks less cool but will be better for your back. ... show more

Ok so.. this is my honest review. Im 6,2", 200lbs The chair looks and feel awesome! And doesnt make any weird sounds like other people say.. just tight the bolts firmly and do it again, and youre good to go. I usually game 4 to 5 hours.. in that time frame is really comfortable. Very high quality chair. The legs were metal so they are very sturdy. You can’t tell from the pictures but I thought the armrests were going to be hard plastic but they are actually very soft and nice. Insanely good buy for the price and I paid 170 for this and then a day later it dropped to 150 and even for 170 it is a steal. Five stars for sure ... show more

I want AT LEAST some sort of partial refund, mainly because im just so tired of things not fitting properly and just takes the whole quality and user experience away so much from things that come from china, i like the seat and everything, its just that I hate amazon's returning policy how i have to drive far away to the nearest facility 50+ miles and so this is not worth a return. I tried everything to get the screw in and i do not want to strip it, so i guess im stuck with a semi floppy chair... 🙃😡 *Edit IMPORTANT: They did send me a new chair and it is so much better, no sqeaks, feels good, and everything feels nice!
