    • Clear labeling at last.. or is it?
Somehow it is near impossible to find magnesium supplements with thorough labeling. You’re left to guess how much actual (elemental) magnesium you’re getting, and it drives me bananas they don’t specify. So bonus points here for the specificity! But they’re claiming 500mg glycinate = 150mg elemental magnesium, which is a whopping 30%. It’s more like 10-20% max so you may end up with way less than you need following this label. So besides that questionable bit, this has maintained my usual great benefits I’ve been getting from my holy grail brand (doctors best), but I’m taking a larger dose than recommended. If my sleep starts getting worse I know something isn’t right with the magnesium supplement I’m taking. And so far so good here. to rate the sleep quality. I've dealt with 2-3 hours of sleep for the past 8-10 years. Not anymore! I would give these a 100 stars if I could. I take one capsule about 2 hours before I intend to go to bed. Now, sometimes I have to go to be early because I'm sleepy. Once asleep, I rarely wake again for 6 hours or sometimes 7! Awesome blend with the addition of black pepper which I firmly believe helps the absorption of everything else I need. A 4 month supply for unbelievably low price!! I take magnesium to help reduce muscle cramps. I usually take magnesium glycinate/bisglycinate, which is what this product claims to be. However, when I take this product, my cramps get worse. Also, there is a strong laxative effect -- as if I were taking magnesium citrate (commonly used as a laxative). This product doesn't act like magnesium glycinate, but like a laxative, only more expensive. ... show more
