So, I have been extremely anemic since I've been 16. I'm 38 now. So, having low iron is no new rodeo for me. I've lived here for decades. I have a hematologist. I've been going to her for years. She has tried to find the source of my anemia for years, but no dice. Iron infusions are like second nature to me. I get them a few times a year, and they help for a bit. Then, I'm back to low iron. I took it in stride, but really I wasn't happy. Taking the regular iron supplements (pills) always made me sick. I must have tried about 100 brands over the years, and they were all terrible. Hence, the continued low iron and infusions. Finally, in my ripe old age, I decided to see if I could find iron in a gummy. I take most everything else in gummy form, why not this? I read a bunch of reviews for some other brands and wasn't impressed. Then, I read the reviews for this product and was intrigued. It wasn't a gummy, but more of like a chew. I liked that. Plus, I was looking to purchase Vitamin C as well. This supplement has 67% of the Vitamin C I need for a day, and along with my Multivitamin, I get well over 100%. So, why not? I received the shipment and took the first chew that night. Hmm...ok. The taste was great, but I didn't feel anything. The second day, the same thing. I went to bed thinking, well let's give it another few days. (Side note here... I never really ever felt "good". When people said they woke up feeling great, I had no idea what they were talking about. All my life I have always felt blah when I wake up. Like, honestly, just ok. Sometimes I felt a little better than ok, but mostly fatigued and run down. Now, this is after getting a full night's rest) Here comes day three, I wake up feeling chipper, like really good. I feel different. Hmmm, I thought to myself. Maybe I'm just getting more sleep, so I shrug it off. I take the 3rd chew. Two hours later, I honestly feel like I'm walking on friggin' sunshine! I'm getting so much done. I don't feel tired. I feel like I have the energy of 100 horses. This can't be true, but each day I feel the same. I want to pinch myself, because I actually feel amazing every day. So, I go to my hematologist because I want more bloodwork done. I've been taking the chews for two weeks, and I'm optimistic. The last time I saw her, my iron level was at 11 with a transferrin saturation of 3. That was a few weeks after an iron infusion. I show her the chews, we talk about them, and she's slightly optimistic as well since I tell her about my energy and mood. I get the results back...floored!!! My iron level is at 50, and my transferrin saturation is at 17. You may say, well that's still on the lower end of the spectrum, but I am absolutely amazed!! This chew is my daily bread. If I have no food, no water, no clean clothes...I will ALWAYS have this supplement!! My iron level is up, I feel absolutely amazing, my hematologist said I don't have to see her for another six months, and again I can't believe how terrific I feel on a daily basis. I have this supplement on subscription, and if I ever hear that they are running out of them or going out of business, I will sink thousands of dollars into buying whatever supply I can, and will not feel bad. I’m a cancer survivor and I was a severe anemic. Would have to go get iron transfusions annually because no matter what iron supplements I would take, never worked to keep my iron levels above the normal levels. Went researching because of my last transfusion… I had a severe allergic reaction and had to be given three epinephrine shots because my throat started closing up. It was a horrible experience and I was bedridden 3 days after that experience. Needless to say I didn’t want to go through that suffering again. I had been given 2 iron transfusions prior to this time I had a severe reaction. I can take meds a couple of times and the next I have an allergic reaction to the same medication. I fractured my back and had to have emergency surgery because I couldn’t walk, stand or sit. The only medication for pain I could get was Tylenol while in the hospital. I swear… the hospital Tylenol strength is nothing you can buy in the drug stores (although the nurses kept telling me it’s the same Tylenol). Thank goodness I found these iron supplements!! My last blood tests showed my iron was within normal range (first time in 3 years) and I am no longer an anemic. Won’t HE do it!!! I must say…I was chewing 2 of these supplements a day instead of 1 recommended. There’s a slight aftertaste but nothing compares to what I’ve been through. Money well spent… ... show more

Hello All! These work!! Most recent test results: Ferritin 45! (<--This is the highest it's been since 2017, yay!!) and Hemoglobin 11 (yay! as well). I feel so, so much like "normal". Keep reading if you want to know some of my numbers before taking these supplements. I've been anemic since I was about 12 years old. Fortunately, when I was younger, I managed it through my diet. Well, no one tells you as you get older, your body changes and absorption of iron diminishes due to various reasons. As recently as November 2020, my Hematologist was this close to sending me to the hospital for a blood transfusion because my numbers were VERY low ( Ferritin <1 normal range: 15 - 204 ng/mL & Hemoglobin 6.4 normal range: 11.8 - 16 mg/dL). She decided against it due to the COVID situation, but I was immediately scheduled for a series of infusions over the next few days. My numbers went up to Ferritin 6 and Hemoglobin 8. This was better, but about a month later--my Ferritin (iron stores) was down again: Ferritin 3 and Hemoglobin 10(<--this # was ok, though). I felt better and being the patient that I am, I didn't return for any more infusions. It's hard to go to the doctor when you're feeling well. :o) January 2021: Down again *frowny face* Ferritin: 3 and Hemoglobin: 8. Uggh! Believe me, I've had all the tests and procedures done to determine if blood loss was the reason for iron deficiency anemia. All results negative, it's just a simple fact that my body isn't absorbing it from food. Of course the monthly visitor doesn't help either. I decided to start taking these after reading all the reviews. Before, I found these, I thought to myself, surely there had to be iron supplements available that were NOT in pill form. I could not deal with the stomach upset and constipation that come along with them --and--for some reason, I Just Did Not Want To Start Infusions Again! I started feeling better in about a week and my hair stop shedding!! Nothing else changed, so I know it had be these supplements. There is a metallic after-taste, but if you brush your teeth/tongue immediately afterwards, it should be ok. It's totally worth it, to NOT be so sluggish, have brain-fog and hair loss anymore. If anyone out there is still on the fence AND your story is similar to mine, please try these! I honestly feel like a new person and I don't plan on ever stop taking them!! ... show more
