I had some symptoms of iodine deficiency and was recommended this product and it has been changing my life. I noticed less fatigue and more hair growth. It's seemingly easy to think this can't happen to you since iodized salt is easy to find, but you may have way less iodine than you think, which is even more surprising for me when my sister can't have too much iodine. The first time you take it is a real kick in flavor, but you don't notice the taste as bad after using it more, assuming you shoot it to the back of your tongue (mixing it with a drink is gross and hitting the back of your throat will burn). You still have to keep up in other areas of your health like nutrition, diet, and exercise, but iodine has been a little miraculous for me, so I've really been missing out on having this in my diet. The price is pretty good too all things considered. Avoid letting any of it leak on the bottle or anywhere else because it does not clean easy.

I purchased this in early December 2024. Before using this stuff, I was constantly sluggish, low energy, often experienced brain fog, and felt like a bag of bones, even though I would relax all weekend (I have three days off in a row). I wanted to wait to post my review because I wanted to eliminate bias from my period (I'm 30 F). I've gone through two periods since buying this product and I've noticed a night and day difference. The first day off from work, I normally lounge around because I am so drained. After using this product, I'm actually getting up and doing chores and cooking. Before using this product, I'd experience PMS symptoms two weeks in advance of bleeding. This would have me take days off work because I'd have such a sheer lack of energy. After using this product, I feel a bit emotionally high and low but no longer so drained. I've actually been having full work weeks lately without taking any time off. I typically use two drops into a 500ml bottle of water, 3 for any larger size bottle. I've noticed that 2 drops barely alter the taste, but 3 drops do. Not intolerable, but noticable. Sometimes I'll add it to soup, too. An important thing to note that this is nascent iodine AND potassium iodide. I was looking at another product that was just potassium iodide. No reviews were mentioning the positive effects I was seeking. People were mentioning how clear the liquid is, thinking that nascent iodine should be brown. They're right: it should be brown. But they didn't purchase nascent iodine. This product is cheaper than pure nascent iodine because of its lesser potency and mixture of potassium iodide. If you don't want a strong dose, I believe this product is good and budget friendly. If you do want something stronger, try seeking out the pure version, which is more expensive.

Great for so many things. A few drops per day in water will keep your iodine levels up. If you ever have a sore throat or strep throat, gargle with this and if you really want to kill an infection, dab it directly onto a q-tip and swab your throat. Will burn like a dickens but that's just momentary and it will kill off the infection and your pain will be gone much quicker.
