I ordered the "large" set and it's definitely not large; the table is okay but the chairs are more of a small/medium size. I'm 5' tall, average weight and there isn't much extra width in the chairs and the height of the chair seats (with my short legs) doesn't give much room to spare. If you're tall or larger-sized, these chairs would be way too small for an adult. I have a small patio so they're okay but since they were listed as the larger of the sets available, I thought they would be much bigger. I've had cast iron bistro sets before and my last set was heavy; this set is much lighter so if you use this set on an open deck, not sure how stable it would be on a windy day. Lastly, it took more than a "few minutes" to assemble the set. By myself, it took almost 2 hours. The directions were okay but the 3 bags of hardware should have been labeled for the chairs & table and the sizes of the screws/washers/nuts should have been more clearly labeled. One bag was specifically to assemble the table but I didn't realize that until afterwards (there were 3 large screws "left over" that should have been used on the table, which I had already assembled). My oversight resulted in not having the right parts to assemble the second chair so I had to do some improvising. For the price, this set is good for now but I do wish it was larger and heavier. If you have a small space, aren't a large person and on a budget, this set might be okay for you.

The chairs and table are low/small, if you are average height they should work, but this is not for tall people. We bought it more as ornate than functional for a small balcony However, for daily or routine use make sure the dimensions work for you. We think we received an open item because some of the packaging as well as the instructions were tore, but the table and chairs pieces were OK. Easy to assemble and strong enough if you are of average weight. Overall this item is a OK considering the price.

Beautiful set that looks good while holding up well to the elements. We have this in a front courtyard but it would be the perfect size for a balcony. Very French or New Orleans French Quarter look to it! Holds strong. Perfect for morning coffee or evening wine
