I'm not good enough at fiddlin' yet to know if these are great strings. They're good strings as far as I can tell. As good as any strings I've used, better than many. They sound great. They don't sound bad. And that's pretty much the extent of my knowledge of fiddle strings.

I picked up this set of strings for a 3D-printed violin project, and they worked out perfectly well in my case. I'm not a string player primarily, so I don't know how these compare to others or where they fall on the scale of quality, but I'm happy with how they've performed so far.

as i was installing the g-string the thread at the bottom was too thick and it wouldnt fit right and then as i was tightening it... it broke :/ this was 15 minutes before my violin lesson and i had to cancel cuz i was missing strings

I bought two packages. Both of my G strings (of all strings) broke trying to tune it. I wasn’t even high enough to get an A. It snapped at a G#. Every other string reacted fine. I was very disappointed this happened twice. My violin instructor even tuned the second one and had the same issue. Will not be buying again.
