I am very impressed with the quality of these strings. I used them to put on my daughter’s smaller guitar and despite her messing with the tuning and dropping it a lot, the strings have not popped. On the smaller guitar, they don’t tune exactly, but it’s close enough for her to learn. She loves that the strings are different colors and it has been easier to teach her EADGBE with the colored strings. The sound good, even on the smaller guitar, but I do have to cut some length off after installing.

Trying to learn guitar with this old First Act guitar and one string missing. Found the strings on Amazon, thank goodness! To my sheer surprise and glee I received 3 different sets of strings, a multi color, a chrome/steel set and a plastic set! What a great deal! Also included were 3 super cute pink picks! String was easy to add to my guitar and quick to go right in tune. This is a remarkable purchase for the price!

There is no indication which string is which. They are (all except the thinnest two) are colored differently, but there is chart telling which color is which string. Other than that, they're fine.

Wonderful buy long lasting strings

While I'd have enjoyed it more to send my grandkids drums these guitar strings were way cheaper and their parents didn't mind them coming into the house. Yeah, I'm that grandparent!! Cosmetic's for the 3-year-old granddaughter, drums for a grandson, a ukulele, harmonica's, recorders... They love them all!!! But let's face it, at this point their parents have gotten wise to my shenanigans but the simple little envelope with strings made it right into the house without them batting an eye! And now they wish it's turn into El Kabong and be smashed to smithereens. Practice-practice-practice and you never know, one of them might turn into the greatest guitar player ever! As far as the strings - they're as good as a 12 year old learner can ask for.

I bought this set for my boyfriend because they were cheap and he had a broken string. Within 2 days both of the bottom two had broken again. It's difficult to know if it's the string quality or his heavy fingers banging on them. It's only a matter of time before any brand breaks on him. These just had a much shorter time... (He was also excited to have strings again after being without got almost a month so....?)
