    • Good for someone who has light fingers... My boyfriend does not.
I bought this set for my boyfriend because they were cheap and he had a broken string. Within 2 days both of the bottom two had broken again. It's difficult to know if it's the string quality or his heavy fingers banging on them. It's only a matter of time before any brand breaks on him. These just had a much shorter time... (He was also excited to have strings again after being without got almost a month so....?) ... show more

I used these to restring a plastic guitar for my kids and they love it. It does lose tune fast but I think that's mostly due to the plastic guitar. Cheap fix for a young learner

    • They are not the best, but...
Ok. So they are not the best.. but they don't cost $25.00 a set either.! I try to keep a few sets of these on hand for my guitar students when they break a string, or have older, used strings that sound dull and lifeless. They won't last 6 months or even 6 weeks if you play a lot. But they will get you through a lesson or two and a few hours of practice time.. and so, yes I keep a few sets on hand and give them out to my students when they need some.. A few of my students say that they like the tone and sound, for the cost.. Other students ask if I made them myself from old fence wire.! L.O.L But I think they are ok for a beginner and in a pinch, cheep strings are better than no strings at all.. And since I give them out free to any students that need the help, they really can't complain to much.!! ... show more
