None what so ever was i paid to give this review, I purchased theses speakers on Aug 25th 2023 through amazon It was supposed to be delivered Sept. 5th they came in Sept. 3rd earlier than expected..happy with that. i put them in a 1999 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Standard just in the faring the only very small problem was the hole didn't match up perfect but got them to fit just fine. After installment I took the bike for a ride to test how they would sound on the road, let me say i'm impressed with the sound, I had bought other speakers prior 3-way 5.25 not marine speakers and these Polk sound way better .. my volume goes to 40 and the Polk sound good without distortion I am very pleased with these speakers..i will buying two more of these soon and add an amp to them .My bike is gonna Rock!!!! inexpensive for a great sounding speaker ... show more

I have always like Polk Audio . After researching all different speakers the size of these were great for the outdoor speakers on the RV. Used a spacer and they fit great, even the holes lined up . Fast delivery and nice price. Would recommend

So I opened the shipping box and it felt very dirty to the touch, but once I got into the shipping box, the speaker product box was inside sitting in some kind of gravel or cat litter. When I opened the speaker product box, to my dismay, the cat litter substance was also completely covering the speakers inside too! There was so much of this crap, it spilled all over my desk and scattered everywhere. I had to scrape it together with a piece of cardboard to get it in a pile. There was far more than pictured, but you can see what I was dealing with. The cone of my speakers were invaded by tiny particles of this stuff and they were stubbornly stuck there, so I had to make a piece of paper tool to get the little tiny pieces out of the speakers in the cone and side grooves. Ridiculous! Once I got the speakers installed in my saddlebags, they performed great. I'm hopeful they will remain that way and last a long time. I have doubts, but I'm willing to give them a chance. They look way better than the garbage Rockvilles I had in there before. They also have 10 times the performance of the old Rockville marine speakers that stopped working after two years. At any rate, the speakers are good, so far. Amazon needs better shipping control or something. This cat litter (or whatever it is...lawn pesticide, lawn feed, who knows what) should have never ever been inside my product box. That is unacceptable. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Not a typical install but very impressed with sound quality. Installed in my dozer huuuge upgrade from the crap paper cone speakers. If you’re on the fence go ahead and order you’ll be impressed.

I bought these speakers to replace the factory installed on the Forest River Wildwood 31KQBTS Travel Trailer. I was a little hesitant to replace the speakers as I felt the reason the sound was small and poor quality was due to installing them in a camper with bad acoustics.... What a difference this pair of speakers made in the sound coming from the outside speakers. Clear Crisp quality sound from a 5.25 inch speaker. The installation was extremally simple, fit right in the existing space after removing the old speakers and ran a line of clear sealant around the new speakers. I did lose the blue neon light from around the speakers but the connections are still in tact and they can be ordered at a small price and reattached to my new pair! GREAT PURCHSE. ... show more

Purchased these speakers because the factory speakers left much to be desired. With the old speaker set up, we set up a projector screen for movie night camping in the quiet woods with family and even in front of the speakers the audio was difficult to understand and hear so kids would loose interest. Not fun. With these new speakers however, the audio was crisp and you could actually understand what was being said. We listened to audio books and it was night and day the difference. We still need to upgrade the speakers inside as those have the same issues at the old outside speakers. It could be super quiet with the speaker volume up and I could sit under the speaker, but not understand what is being said. So frustrating! We finally just turned off the inside audio and turned the new speaker audio up and found we could hear and understand the audio words from outside better. So yes, I recommend these speakers! They will make you so much happier than the blurred horrible audio that the stock speakers have. Go for it! Took my husband about an hour to install, but he was doing it in the dark of the night and was working on other stuff as well. So maybe less install time than that. ... show more
