Just bought a 2019 Gibson Les Paul Standard Gold Top and wanted to see if I could brighten up the tone by replacing strings. I wanted to give this change a good shot so I decided to buy the Les Paul Premium strings. I usually use a cheaper string set, but was willing to pay up for these. The results were amazing. I think Gibson nailed it with these strings. Bright to Mellow the tones are remarkable. I cannot really believe there was such a difference. I'll be buying the same forever. ... show more
