Aaaaahhh! Viofo! Viofo! Where art thou Viofo! You are such beautiful things. We love you. Did I miss something? Viofo went through so much effort. Even including the polarized lens cap. The SD card/USB adapter is crazy. I didn't even know equipment didn't have SD slots. But I felt like the add a fuse pieces could have been included. It is simple equipment. Maybe I am mistaken because different cars use different size fuses and there is no universal add a fuse that I am aware of. I guess I am spoiled. After getting the camera equipment and hardwire kit I felt like a kid at Christmas. Then I read that a required component is not included. It isn't really that big of a deal. It is just another thing I could have ordered at the same time or drive to an auto parts store and buy it. I was just bummed. Ultimately I'm getting my windows tinted so I am waiting to formally install everything anyway. But there ought to be a bolder statement mentioning that a person using the hardwire kit needs to have an add a fuse set ready. My heart is with Viofo. You saved me from a massive lawsuit and the only thing aside from myself that didn't lie was your camera. Guardian angel. I will always be faithful to you. But also mention the fuse situation. OH! I also had an install manual in German. But it was easy enough to understand even though I don't speak a lick of German ... show more

    • Nice to have a voltage cutoff
I had the one recommended by my dash cam and over the weekend it would kill my battery, probably because it was set at 11.8v and that didn't star my vehicle. This one has a selectable voltage cutoff and seem to be more acceptable. My dashcam onlr needs a positive and ground, but this has an acc, but it still work. It doesn't come with any fuse taps, so you will have to supply those. It's also 2amps and has heavier guage wires, even though it's the same overall thickness of my other kit. There's also a led in the voltage selector case to indicate it's connected. ... show more

    • Faulty wire system
Within 1 week the wires for the Viofo dash cam fully killed my car battery. Bought a higher capacity battery and it killed that one overnight. So I returned it. The technician said not only did this wiring kill the battery, it severely over heated the camera; it was so hot it almost burned him. The auto shut off didn’t work so the unit never turned off. I installed this in my truck and it works great. I am happy with it and I like the option of selecting the voltage as was mentioned by someone else. I hope it's back in stock soon as I want to order another to install another camera in my car.

    • Not working as intended
I have my aviofobias A139 hardwired, but it still gives it power when off, meaning it goes to parking mode when I turn the car off, but a few seconds later, it turns back on to “recording 3 channel”, which means the camera is on full power. I connected it properly with a voltage meter but it still does not work as intended. ... show more

This wiring was so easy to install. I love looking at my dash cam and not seeing all the wires just hanging and dangling. I also feel secure knowing that when I park at Walmart or anywhere else something possibly may happen, my dash cam will record the event. I recommend getting this cable or something like it if you have a dash cam. The only issue I see with the hardwire kit, is you don’t get the proper fuse adapters based on the vehicle, year, make, and model. I had to purchase them separately. This installed easily. Instructions were spot on and easy to follow. I did get the wrong fuse taps at first, but that was my fault.
