It is a nice heater but plan to invest a little more. The hoses are cheap so when they got hot they were leaking like little pin holes formed and it was spraying. I did hook up 3 in a row. So I went to the hardware store and got 20 feet of hose. Also, the connections need the longer hose so that you can move them around if you get more than one. Lastly, the connection needs the rubber seal or it will leak. You have to put the runner seal on first, then the hose then clamp it and use the tape they give you or let me tell you it leaks. I had to hook them up like 10 times. It was a bit of a pain to hook up. Still not sure that some pieces they included do but overall I am happy. One would def not be enough though I dont think, they are somewhat small. As you can see in the pic I used my own hose and kind of did my own install. The instructions were also crappy. But in Maine and end of May it is up to 81 degrees today so as long as the sun is out it appears to work nice.

It did not heat the water in the pool. The water that sits inside got warm, but once it was out, the water was cold again. It was easy enough to connect, although it came with cheap hoses and they did not fit tightly even with the clamps. In fact, one came lose while I was out and the pool was running and the pool drained down to the skimmer. After that, I disconnected it, and sent it back. When I sent it back, the company, as a 3rd part seller, tried to deny the refund even though all the parst were were returned and in tact. They played a lot of games. Once I got Amazon involved, they resolved the refund.

I purchased 3 of these and have them in chain for my inground pool. I know they would work better in parallel, but I don't want them at both ends of the pool. I just need to work on slowing the water flow through the lines, but I need to purchase another pump for that. If they can extend the time, I can use the pool a few weeks on each side of summer I will be happy.

I don’t know if this actually warms the water yet. It’s been hooked up for a few days and just came home to a backyard that was flooded because on of the tubes that came with it cracked and was spraying water. So the reviews that say the tubes are faulty are right. Do not use the tubes that come with it. I guess I’ll have to buy some new tubing and try hooking it all up again to see if it actually warms the water.

The concept works , but the execution of the product does not. This design is geared towards low volume pool pumps that will enable the system to heat the water. Also not the hoses are junk and the system is made for 1 1/4" hoses , which will not work well with 1 1/2" hoses even with the reducer. Leaks developed and hoses were constantly "blowing" off with too much pressure.

Save your money. These pods leak. The hoses that came with the pods are cheap and do not fit properly which means they leak constantly. The water coming through is heated for only a few minutes before the pods cool down and your just pushing water through leaking pods for no reason. After fighting them for two weeks I ultimately decided to return them.

This thing is amazing! I was skeptical, but this thing heats my 18ft round pool like crazy! I only bought one, thinking of it worked I would get another, but this thing is heating it great with only one. It is almost in the sun all day. It was also super easy to install. Literally took my not mechanically inclined ass 5 minutes to install. Price wise this product cannot be beat! Love it
