I don’t know if this actually warms the water yet. It’s been hooked up for a few days and just came home to a backyard that was flooded because on of the tubes that came with it cracked and was spraying water. So the reviews that say the tubes are faulty are right. Do not use the tubes that come with it. This thing is amazing! I was skeptical, but this thing heats my 18ft round pool like crazy! I only bought one, thinking of it worked I would get another, but this thing is heating it great with only one. It is almost in the sun all day. It was also super easy to install. It is a nice heater but plan to invest a little more. The hoses are cheap so when they got hot they were leaking like little pin holes formed and it was spraying. I did hook up 3 in a row. So I went to the hardware store and got 20 feet of hose. Also, the connections need the longer hose so that you can move them around if you get more than one. Lastly, the connection needs the rubber seal or it will leak. You have to put the runner seal on first, then the hose then clamp it and use the tape they give you or let me tell you it leaks. I had to hook them up like 10 times. It was a bit of a pain to hook up. Still not sure that some pieces they included do but overall I am happy. One would def not be enough though I dont think, they are somewhat small. As you can see in the pic I used my own hose and kind of did my own install. The instructions were also crappy. But in Maine and end of May it is up to 81 degrees today so as long as the sun is out it appears to work nice. ... show more

I've ordered four of these items because they fit the space requirements that I have. On a technical note, then work well and seem sturdy enough. I needed four of them for an 8,500 gallon above ground pool to get the temp to 80 in southern California. As far as a company goes, the customer service of Vingli is horrible. After the purchase the company was very proactive in contacting me, asking about the product, wanting me to post a review, etc. When I mentioned that two of the four long hoses shipped with the products leaked so much they were unusable and wanted new ones, they stopped responding to emails from me. I paid good money for their product and expected at least a response. The product shipped from a southern California warehouse so it wasn't stuck on a container somewhere. I've filled out two reviews on their company website similar to this which were never posted. They just filtering and posting what they like to skew the stats. I'm mechanically inclined, so working around the defective items wasn't a big deal, but the whole thing is disappointing. ... show more

    • be prepared to spend double on the proper fittings to make this thing work
i had to buy different fittings and cut new bulkheads into my pool to make it work. the fittings it comes with are cheap and garbage, i thought this would be nice to add for my son so pool was warmer , but it was a complete waste of my money and time. do not buy.

One makes very little difference in my 16' above ground pool. After a few 90 degree days, there was very little difference. If you're set on this and don't want to make one yourself I'd suggest at least two of them to see any real difference. You're going to want a decent pump too. There's not enough pressure in the standard 'Intex' ones that typically come with pools to push the water through. ... show more

It did not heat the water in the pool. The water that sits inside got warm, but once it was out, the water was cold again. It was easy enough to connect, although it came with cheap hoses and they did not fit tightly even with the clamps. In fact, one came lose while I was out and the pool was running and the pool drained down to the skimmer. After that, I disconnected it, and sent it back. When I sent it back, the company, as a 3rd part seller, tried to deny the refund even though all the parst were were returned and in tact. They played a lot of games. Once I got Amazon involved, they resolved the refund. ... show more
