Viking Professional 5-Ply Cookware is constructed to maximize heat transfer for even heating across the base and up the sides of the pan. The stainless exterior features an elegant satin finish and is magnetic to ensure compatibility with all cooktops including induction. The three layer aluminum core works to transfer heat evenly and quickly throughout the pan. The 18/10 non-reactive polished stainless interior is easy to clean and maintain. The Professional 5-Ply Stainless Steel series is safe for use on all cooktops including induction, in the oven, broiling or on the grill up to 600°F/315°C (nonstick pans up to 500°F/260°C). This line features the Viking signature stay-cool handles, which are ergonomically designed to fit hands naturally to provide balance, leverage and grip. Great set, the cost is a little pricey but what can you expect when wanting a great set, sometimes you have to pay a little more to get the quality you require. Cooks very evenly and easy to clean. All you need is a sponge and some soap very easy. Some of the pans seem to be discoloring here and there but using a magic eraser will take it right away! ... show more

These are terrific pans. Sturdy. Flat. Heavy Duty. They cook and brown food evenly and quickly on low heat. Just to note: when you first cook with them, and after you clean them for the first time, if you're like me, you want them to shine and reflect just like when you first looked them over. They don't. But wait, not all is lost, no need for any concern, there's an easy solution. All you have to do is wet the pan slightly, sprinkle sparingly a little Barkeepers Friend, rub in a circular motion with a nylon scrubber, and voila, the pans are just like brand-new, inside and out . I recently bought a set of your cookware, and I regret to inform you that my experience has been less than satisfactory. I am writing this letter to bring to your attention the issues I have encountered with your product and hope for a resolution to this matter. Firstly, upon receiving the cookware set, I was dismayed to find that some pans and lids were missing from the packaging. This was highly inconvenient as I had expected to receive a complete set as advertised. The incomplete packaging has been an inconvenience that I had not anticipated. Additionally, the quality of the cookware that I did receive is very poor. As a customer, I had high expectations for the Viking Cookware brand due to its reputation for producing high-quality products. However, my experience has left me feeling let down and dissatisfied with the purchase. I believe that the issues I have encountered are not reflective of the quality that your brand claims to offer. I loved everything about this cookware. It is not non-stick, (Nor did I expect it to be.) but the thickness of its construction helps keep foods from sticking and creamy sauces from scorching. It is amazing and money well spent.

Was hesitant to pay so much for cookware but now I see the light. They look badass, conduct heat evenly and are surprisingly easy to clean. Most of the time a soft sponge and water does the trick. If you get burnt food stuck on the pan, let it cool and heat up some vinegar and everything comes right off. When Im sauteeing a chicken breast I add a dab of butter and it melts and doesnt seep into the pan so the chicken absorbs the flavor and doesnt stick. Very happy about these. ... show more
