I bought this chair after much deliberation and consideration, only, after viewing every chair there was to view. I did a mental balancing of scales so to speak. What was the chair that you could spend a reasonable amount and get the absolute highest quality and comfort? Well, after much deliberation I came to believe this was the chair that was the biggest bang for your buck. Well, my belief is not in doubt and the bang was more like a boom.     • The back leans back the seat doesn't.

The chair is really large. A heavy person would easily fit into it. The back is nice and high and offers great support for the neck. There is a handle that allows the back to recline but you have to reset it for every movement. I am used to having a handle that pulls out and allows the seat and back to lean together (kind of like a rocker) and this chair doesn't do that. It is a feature that all my other chairs have had and I miss it. The chair seems to be of very good quality but lacks a little in the design area. The assembly is a little more difficult because of the way the back fits and have to install the footrest. The comfort is a four star because not being able to tilt the whole seat back keeps the chair from being as comfortable as it could be. The support is good but being made for a larger person I slide around a bit. The chair is a solid four out of four and for those wanting a fabric chair (which is what I wanted) it is well worth the price I paid ($170). ... show more

I AM A BIG DUDE! 6’2 375! This is THE HEAVIEST DUTY CHAIR I HAVE EVER PURCHASED! It is super comfortable, took me 10 minutes to put together and there are really high quality parts used. The back support is AMAZING! I got the black one because it’s my favorite color but that white one is getting purchased next for my son. I have absolutely zero regrets. Overall it's a nice chair but the cord on the back massager is somewhat short and unless you cable manage, it easily gets in wheels as you roll around. The next issue is footrest for labeled as a bigger person chair, but the footrest is not. I tried to use it but always feels like I am either going to tip over or break it. ... show more

Update Aug 2023: updating review from 1 star to 3 due to great customer service. Had issues with chair base and company shipped new replacement base and shock. Unfortunately had similar issues within ~ 3mo again and company stepped up giving refund AND sending a like new demo chair to me no charge to try for my troubles. Hope this 3rd one will be the charm, as it is a really nice chair otherwise in this price range. Original review: Appeared to be a good quality chair compared to all other $150-175 range, and this is supposed to be for 350 lb oversized/big adult. Assembly not bad, and kid found it comfortable enough. Less than 3mo of actual time since assembled and began using the pole anchor site in base buckled and now chair is bent forward. Even if I pry it back to straight vertical, it is compromised now and resumes its bent angle rendering chair useless. Had an RC racing chair for nearly a yr before it gave out and that was one I found for free on side of road, though liked the comfort and features if this chair better initially. ... show more
