    • No horizontal keystone correction

I have an older ViewSonic projector model which has vertical and horizontal Keystone correction but, was hoping to update it with a higher lumens projector. I purchased ViewSonic PG800HD thinking it had vertical and horizontal keystone image correction. It only has vertical. There is no picture of the projectors rear view in the top product photos. If you scroll down to the lower ad details and photos, it shows a projectors rear view photo with horizontal and vertical keystone and a photo of a living room where the projector is on a end table way off center, which leads you to believe that the ViewSonic PG800HD offers horizontal keystone correction option. It does not. Photos are of a different ViewSonic projector model. They really need to review and correct that.     • Terrible projector, DO NOT BUY

I bought this projector for a weekly business meeting. Amazon put me in contact with View Sonic for trouble shooting. Customer service was great the projector was terrible. It stopped more than it ran, after several lamps and parts they sent me to replace as well as 2 refurbished projectors and one brand new one I am giving up. I would never, ever buy another one. Bought this in June of 2021 and used weekly with some off weeks due to weather and COVID, so used around 28 weeks for less than 30 minutes a week. I'm giving up. Having Amazon send me to View Sonic and working through their customer service for so long now prevents me from getting a refund on a product I bought from Amazon to start with. Beware, if you buy something that isn't working the way it should get a refund ASAP or set a reminder to get a refund and keep track of it before they divert you to the original manufacturing. This projector is bright enough for viewing in bright daylight under a covered deck. The price point makes this a great value. My only issue is the inability to adjust the picture width. You need to physically move the unit to do that.

We use this in our church. The auditorium is 60x40. The throw is about 15-20 feet and it is bright and vibrant. We combined this projector with a screen designed for larger spaces. I have been through at least a dozen projectors during my tenure, I would certainly recommend this one.

This projector is fabulous. The picture is crystal clear and can even be viewed easily in a well lit room. The only negative I have is the volume control. We keep the volume at 1 which is the lowest setting and it is still too loud. I wish that we could turn it down lower.

OH MY GOSH, FINALLY a 1080p projector that doesn't cost an arm and leg and is truly 1080p and bright and accurate and simply PERFECT!! I have been looking for so long, most projectors of this quality - per my research anyway - cost SO much more. LOOK NO FURTHER my friends. (The bulb life isn't rated to last quite as long as some, but for this brightness and true 1080p quality I'll gladly buy another bulb when needed.) ... show more

I bought this 5000 lumens projector to see how much brighter it was than my 3200 lumens viewsonic that only cost $584... it wasn't brighter, the picture wasn't better. I tested them side by side. I have no idea why...
