This smart lock is just amazing. I am able to lock the door remotely over the phone. I can use key fob and key to open. I can use fingerprint to unlock. It automatically records all the motion in front of door with no charge. Compare to my old smart lock started charging me monthly fee due to the fact that they got bought out, this smart lock is just such a great value. It is easy to install and locks smoothly. I wish they have the facial and audio recognition technology. That would be a unbeatable product

This smart lock is absolutely fantastic! I can lock the door remotely using my phone. I can unlock it with a remote key fob, a physical key, or my fingerprint. It also automatically records all activity at the front door for free. In comparison, my previous smart lock started charging a monthly fee after the company was acquired, so this one offers much better value. The installation process was simple, and the fingerprint sensor is incredibly fast. The camera and indoor display provide a very clear picture, and the two-way communication feature is very useful when guests or delivery people arrive. The accompanying app is easy to use, and remote unlocking is instantaneous. All in all, this is a significant upgrade to my home security – it's incredibly convenient and looks very high-end.

The media could not be loaded. I made the mistake of purchasing the smart lock S398 on Amazon two months before moving, so it's now too late to return although I can still provide a review. I installed it a few days ago. This product does not work. My phone does not receive notifications. The few that mage to come through are delayed by minutes. The app stores notifications as well but not all events, like unlocking or motion, are processed in the notifications on the app itself. Even with motion sensor set to high it does not capture the most obvious movement. I have had packages and food delivered and it the couple times it managed to record it was after the package delivery so all I see are the packages recorded for 10 seconds. I have no clue who delivered. I live in a condo with the elevator just over 10 feet away. I would think I would have issues with over recording and begin inundated with motion notifications. Instead I have about the videos of motion with just my package on the porch and one AFTER someone enters. It could have been a robber and no one would know who they would just see and hear my front door being closed. Also, the lock allows for individual passwords and fingerprints, but what's the point if there is no where in the app to see who unlocked the door. It just states door unlocked using password. It also has a message in the app that says network unavailable, please check mobile network settings, but it shows wifi connected. I thought maybe I needed to subscribe to the "Plus Plan" offered on the app since it stated it offers more features so I did that a day after install. Then I tested the lock and still received no notifications. I walked back and forth in front of the door and it didn't record or notify. There are no additional features offered with the plan. Everything is the same. I would say everything "works" the same but it doesn't work. I emailed support email from the FAQ on app to cancel the useless subscription and my email was returned. I found another email online telling them the issues and stating I would like the subscription canceled and refunded. This was the response: "We sincerely apologize for the unpleasant experience. To receive more notification messages, you need to enable all notification permissions on your phone. Could you please confirm whether all permissions are enabled? Regarding the video capture feature, we have identified the issue and are working on optimizations. A version upgrade is expected by the end of this month, and you will be able to see the improvements then." I responded with screen shots to let them know everything was set on phone and app as it should be in order to function properly and it does not work. I also asked them why they could not look up my subscription with my account credentials in order to deactivate the plan and reimburse the payment made for the month. I also asked them to confirm I would not see future months charged. I have not received any response to that. It looks like I will be taking the loss for the cost of this lock and the plan for the month, replacing my card so there are no more charges, and searching for a lock that actually works with a more reputable company.

I was looking for an all in one device - lock, doorbell, and camera with inside monitor - and this fit the bill perfectly. It was very easy to install, it fit perfectly on the door, and was simple to connect and setup. I had reached out to the seller on battery questions and they were very responsive, professional and helpful. I would be very comfortable buying their products again. I am impressed with how well the device functions. It looks and feels well made and works smoothly. I’d wish for a way to see in the log whose fingerprint it was for a given unlock event but if the info is there, I haven’t found it yet. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, the camera recording should start sooner, e.g. I had a package left by the door today and the video log only shows the package already there but not being brought. I think it is a common issue with recording events tho, I have used multi camera subscription arlo at another property and the recording was just as spotty. Still, I am very pleased with this lock and have already recommended it to friends.

The smart lock comes with a functionality that we want. It can do video and also allow for fingerprint unlock. With the smart lock, we no longer need to bring the physical key and can add/remove person easily. The video camera is also very convenient and clear. The lock can be configured from wifi and phone. It is smart and easy to use. The lock is of great quality and fit for most of front doors.

The apps a bit sluggish but it works AND the battery actually lasts FOREVER. seriously its been months ive had this badboy and i have yet to recharge it. Side note it does come with the IC Cards so you can just tap to unlock.
